Hi hi hi there. This is gordon from
depswa reporting in from the road, on ozz fest 2003. for the past
couple of days, since the ozz fest show in Seattle, we have had some days
off. I hate days off.. not only do we not get to rock out.
We do not get to see all of the cool people we have met on this tour.
Days off are f***ing lame. All we do is sit around, drink mass
amounts of beer, and talk about the good old days when we worked s***y
jobs, and dreamed of playing ozz fest. I guess we don't really
have that bad huh..
Today, which is I have no idea what day
it is, we are in Albuquerque new mexico. I woke today to a
fine hangover. After wiping myself down with adult body wipes.
I poured some coffee and it was off to see the second stage rockers.
I have to say that every band on the second stage kills it. I have
gone to many ozz fests in the past, but this years second stage is hungry.
All the bands kill it, and I love watching all of them perform.
We had a great set, and signed a ton of autographs at the fye tent.
It is the s*** being able to meet so many kids at these shows.
That brings me to the present time.
I am now buzzed from chillin over at the jagermeister tent.
After this I'm hitting up the free miller light tent. So we will
talk to yall later. Take care, and f***.

Let me just start by saying holy f-ing
s***! Ozzfest, the tour of all tours and we just so happen to be on it,
go figure.
A few days ago we were in St. Louis and
it was hot as f***! Needless to say we still managed to have ourselves
a really good time hanging with all the bands and the fans. I will say
that St. Louis did get a little out of control when the sun started to
fade and the jager started to flow but hey, with out a little drama here
and there I wouldn't have anything to write about. After we left what very
well could have been mistaken for a f***ing war zone we went to our next
stop Minneapolis.
After Minneapolis we went to the Windy
City Chicago. In Chicago we went on at about 3:00 and I would say we played
in front of the most people there than we have on the whole tour so far.
We sat around hanging with old friends and drinking Old Style (lite) it
was great. The next day we had an off date with our good friends in Un-Loco
and Memento in Grand Rapids MI. we ate burritos and did bad things, thats
all you need to know.
Yesterday, Cleavland, OH. ?????????? I
might have a bit of trouble digging up any info on what went on yesterday
but I'll try. We went on at 9:00am and hit the Jager tent shortly after
we were done only because Eliah from the band Endo got us started by tricking
me into drinking his well saturated Sobe and Grey Goose so why stop there?
After that I am pretty sure we just had a lot of fun, I hope.

I know I say this every show, but it was
f***ing hot man. 115 degrees, that is no heat you want to play in let me
tell you. Today was the day that we opened the show, we started playing
at 9:30 AM so the heat wasn't to insane. I felt bad for the dudes in Cradle
of Filth, those motherf***ers wear full leather with boots and makeup and
god knows what else is under there cloths. So what do you do when your
band plays first thing in the morning? Nothing you hang out and chill with
your friends all day because that is what Ozzfest is all about. For the
most part of the day we hung out with Marilyn Mansons dancers. Those are
some of the coolest girls on earth and they are great performers. Our bus
call was early because our next Offest show was like 800 miles away......How
Sweet.

You know those days where you just have
a weird feeling but you don't know what it is that you are feeling weird
about. I had that day, I woke up in my bunk all frantic and s*** like sweating,
I hate that feeling. We played second today so I was up bright and early.
I watched Memento's set and it rocked, they opened the show and we were
right after them. So I'm guessing the funny feeling i had was my gear wasn't
working. It's insane dude on Ozzfest you have 5 Min. set changes so you
better hope your gear is working, and of course mine wasn't. What a s***ty
feeling it is when your equipment doesn't work and your a complete retard
like me and you have no clue how to fix it. Lucky it was only my wireless
that wasn't working, I fixed that then proceeded to f*** the crowds mind
with my bass lines....JOKING, Gosh can't you take a joke!!! Steve from
Ampeg was at the show and they had brought a bunch of new gear and they
had guitars, bass's, drums Etc. It was so funny, I started a band with
Vanessa, Manson's dancer, some motherf***er with 5 teeth and me, Unfortunately
after the jam session we broke up. Thanks to all who came and supported
our band, we never had a name but I think we had a pretty big impact on
the music scene.
I love your smile,
