Today wasn’t the easiest of days for Hotwire
to get up and rock & roll at 9AM..We had gone to a private sushi party
in Scottsdale,AZ somehow through our tour manger and there was all the
free sushi, beer and sake one could induldge in....And induldge we did,
it was awesome. Sushi is probably the best thing ever besides Iron Maiden,it
is one of my most enjoyable past times.Anyways enough of the bulls*** people
lets move on to the real s***.The show today was awesome expect for the
fact that it was literaly 120 degrees on the asphalt, so to say the least
I chilled on Shadows fall bus most of the day and hung out with the AC
and some 50 Cent, I love those long hair cock rockers.
When the sun set,me,Howard from Killswitch
and Brian from Shadows fall went over to watch Ozzy.It was so funny walking
over to the main stage, those fools got stopped like 10 or 15 times with
fans saying “Dude i love your band” Blah Blah Blah and the best part is
i didn’t get reconized one time.God i love being the bass player. After
5 min of watching Ozzy and hearing him say 420 times “I love you all” we
split and went over to the backstage bar. It was getting late and our bus
call was getting closer so I called it a night got in my bunk rocked the
new Beck till i crashed out.

Today was a short day for the Hotwire
camp, We played around 1 PM and left the show at 2:30 PM to return home
to LA. We have been on the road for like two months so all of us had one
thing on our mind and it rhymes with bussy. The highlight of the day i would
have to say would be the weather and the f***in 4th of July traffic we
dealt with to get home, What would have normally taken 3 hours took 5 and
it sucked.
Yours truly,

Home town show muthaf***ers!!! I love
it when i get home to play the Ozzfest and all of a sudden my phone rings
off the hook and all these fools I havent spoken to in months are all of
a sudden my best friend again. Nice try guys & gals but i know what
your up too and i don’t like it. The show today was the first show of tour
where it was in the dirt and it was f***in dusty. When we were playing it
looked like a deleted scene out of the movie Twister. Our set today was
one of the radest Hotwire has played in a while, it just felt really good
to have a pit bigger than Howard from Killswitch’s dick, and if you fools
know what I’m talking about that s*** was huge son.Mad props to LA
for making us feel at home after a long So Cal. hiatus. We split after we
played to get home to our girls and chill that thing that rhymes with Tussy.Thank
you to all of Hotwires family and friends who came to the show, it meant
the world to us. Next stop San Fransisco.
Love & chaos,
Chris & Hotwire
