According to London's Daily Mail, scientists took samples of the singer's blood at his home in Buckinghamshire earlier this year and had it processed at a New Jersey lab, using a state-of-the-art test. The results confirmed that Ozzy is a descendant of a Neanderthal man. "That won't come as much of a surprise to the missus, or various police departments around the world," joked Osbourne. Today Bob Wayne tells us about "Reptile" from his new album, "Outlaw Carnie," which will hit stores tomorrow via Century Media. Here is the story:My grandmother tells this story the best but I'll try my best! When I was a child my grandmother would pick us up and take us to church every Sunday morning. I loved it because we always went to Roys Western Smorgy Borgy afterwards for the all you can eat buffet! In church I learned about the story of Lucifer and God. How Lucifer was cast down from heaven with some other angels. I also learned that god wanted us to love and pray for everything. So grandma still tells this story and it's really funny to hear this little old women say this
. keep in mind I'm 8 years old at this time
.. BOB- grandma? GRANDMA- yes Bobby
BOB-we're supposed to love, forgive and pray for everybody right? GRANDMA- that's right! BOB- well
.then I love, forgive and pray for Lucifer. You should have seen the look in her eyes! She was shocked and didn't really know what to say. (I think that it made her think a minute) Well that's what the song REPTILE is about. It's a song coming from Lucifer's perspective of what happened, and where he is now "Violence runs like a river through my veins, like a horse without its reigns, a soldier on the plains" is stating how angry he is still for what happened. "I'll slowly fade away
.like I did on the day
he through us all away" is recalling the day he and the other fallen angels were cast down. I actually wrote this at my brother's house and he helped me a bit, it was pretty cool
.especially since he's a devout Christian! (don't worry brother
.your god will forgive you
and if not, well you made some brownie points with good ole Lucifer!! Hehehe) Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album

Virgin Steele's new album "The Black Light Bacchanalia" will be released as a standard CD, limited edition CD Digipak with a bonus CD, and digital download will be released on November 9th in North America. They will also release a strictly limited edition LP box set which will be released on November 23rd in North America. Each version will have its own unique artwork. Virgin Steele mastermind David Defeis explains the album title: My answer is this...Well...it is my way of saying something like "This insane Life"....It should be thought of in the same spirit as the way Dante called his Work "The Divine Comedy". He was discussing Life in all its multifaceted craziness, and I mean something similar with the phrase, "The Black Light Bacchanalia". I too am speaking about Life and all its attendant drama, aches, & pains, pathos, joys & sorrows. By that phrase I also mean "The Great Reversal". Where when one culture conquers another, the deities of the conquered people become the demons of the conquerors religion. Everything is turned upside down...topsy-turvy. This is essentially what happened to Paganism & Gnosticism. The Pagans were killed off, and their worship of Bacchus/Dionysus with their bacchanalias was suppressed. But...in the glow of the Black Light things that are white are illuminated... the other colors fade into the shadows...The Pagans went underground....

In honor of what would have been the Big Bopper's 80th birthday on Sunday, October 24, his son Jay Richardson granted a fascinating interview with Spinner.com about his father, whom he never met. On February 3, 1959, the Big Bopper died in a plane crash with Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens an event now known as the Day The Music Died. This was before Richardson was born, but he pays tribute to his father by singing in John Mueller's Winter Dance Party, which re-creates the final show of Holly, Valens and the Big Bopper.Among other revelations, Richardson speaks of getting to see his father's body in 2007, when it was exhumed to be moved to a bigger gravesite. "That was one of the most tremendous days of my life," Richardson said. "[Anthropologist] Bill Bass was very wrong. And he will tell you that because I asked what should I expect, and he said probably very little. He was being very honest maybe some tatters of clothing and maybe some bone fragments. "I opened the casket, and it was my dad. The crease in his pants, his hair flat top standing up. It was amazing. My father was so well preserved. It wasn't gross. It was no different than going to a funeral and someone saying their last goodbyes. I was able to have closure. Even though I wasn't born at the time of his death, I was able to rebury my father. His grandkids were pallbearers."
