(Gibson) The Who's Roger Daltrey will serve as guest counselor at Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy Camp New York City, set to take place January 12-17, 2011. Other musicians participating in the annual event, which was founded in 1997, include Bad Company's Simon Kirke, Quiet Riot's Rudy Sarzo, Winger's Kip Winger, and legendary '60s pop-rocker Tommy James, among others. A touring version of the Fantasy Camp, which debuted Oct. 16 as a new TV series on VH1 Classic, will be criss-crossing the U.S. this fall. Headed by Dickey Betts, these "weekend warrior" camps kick off today (Oct. 22) in Philadelphia, and then head to San Francisco (Nov. 5-7), Dallas (Nov. 12-14) and Chicago (Nov. 19-21).
