(hennemusic) On Saturday, Pearl Jam played the first of two Bridge School Benefit shows in California; this weekend marks the 24th edition of the annual event organized by Neil Young.Pearl Jam are celebrating their 20th anniversary this week, marking their Off Ramp gig in Seattle on October 22, 1990 as the starting point to their career. "It was 20 years ago, last night, our group played our first gig," said Eddie Vedder. "I wouldn't mention it, but only because, if we wouldn't have had the help or assistance or the comradely with a certain guy, I guess we would have made it for about 5 or 6...if we wouldn't have had our Uncle Neil looking after us." - More including video here
