antiMusic reports: A Utah Def Leppard fan may have taken the lyrics to "Rock of Ages" literally to heart when he started a blaze outside of group's concert after he ousted from the venue. "Burn it up lets go for broke /Watch the night go up in smoke," may be inspirational lyrics but now this man is facing several charges for his pyromaniac like behavior. The Salt Lake Tribute reported on Wednesday: A Logan man thrown out of a Def Leppard concert in August was charged Tuesday with arson for allegedly setting fire to dry grass surrounding West Valley City's USANA Amphitheatre. The 28-year-old man was charged in 3rd District Court with third-degree felony arson, criminal trespassing, a class B misdemeanor, and intoxication, a class C misdemeanor, in the Aug. 25 blaze.

antiMusic reports: Evanescence vocalist Amy Lee took to the band's Myspace this week to update fans on the band's new album and answer fan questions. Here is what she had to say:I've been sitting here reading through so many of these questions and comments... trying to find one I haven't answered and want to... I guess I just want to say thanks for making me feel good. Ha. It's really nice to know so many of you miss the music and want to know when you'll hear it again. I've gotten to the point where I'm working on it almost every day (night I should say). I'm in love with it. Enough to fight for it. Enough to reopen the door to a world of chaos even though it scares me. I don't want to give away too much about what it will sound like, because so much will change before the end, but its... not what you would expect. Its definitely not happy married music, but its not like I'm dying the whole time either. It's dark, sarcastic, fun, strange, familiar and very different at the same time. It makes me feel alive and I wish I could show you right now. If you were here, at my house, I would pour you a drink and we would turn it up really loud and rock out to it, and I know you would love it. Thank you everyone who has said their lives were touched by the music. It touches my life too, and so do you, in many ways. Somebody asked how it made me feel when someone tells me the music changed their life. It makes me feel like I'm not crazy. It feels wonderful. Also somebody asked why I talk about blood so much, complete with quite a few lyric quotes. It made me laugh. I promise to offer slightly less blood on the next album. Slightly.

MMP reports: Ronnie James Dio is without question one of the most famous and respected singers in the entire history of heavy metal. Known from his solo career and such legendary bands as Rainbow and Black Sabbath, Dio is often recognized for his extremely powerful voice, which throughout the years became his trademark. In late 1982 Ronnie James Dio and fellow former Black Sabbath member, drummer Vinny Appice, formed a band that was not meant to be a solo project but a band as a whole. Ronnie recruited an old bassist that had served his time with him in the band Rainbow, Jimmy Bain. Along with a hot new guitarist out of Ireland, Vivian Campbell, this band was to become DIO! This exclusive re-release of "Evil or Divine – Live in New York City" brings a truly unique collection of some of the greatest and most memorable songs in Dio's catalogue, brilliantly performed at the Roseland ballroom in New York City in 2002. The set list includes songs that span the length of Dio's distinguished career. Though favoring his early solo works, there is a bit of Rainbow, as well as Black Sabbath. Including such remarkable songs as "Long Live Rock and Roll", "Heaven and Hell", "Stand Up and Shout", "Don't Talk to Strangers" and "Holy Diver", this album is a must-have for all true fans of heavy metal. The new digipak edition is limited to 1000 copies. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process, released on a golden disc. Metal Mind Productions set the release date for 2nd November.

antiMusic reports: Inhale Exhale's new album, Bury Me Alive, hits stores this week and to celebrate we asked frontman Ryland Raus and guitarist John LaRussa to pick their favorite five tracks from the effort and tell us a little bit about each one. Here they are with today's song "Over and Out"Ryland Raus: The theme is time travel. About wishing you could go back and correct things that were done wrong in the past. But also realizing that the experiences of our past should not be changed, because they have aided in molding who we are today. Sometimes thinking about what you should have done or said can drive you right out of your mind. In the finale of the song, this process is portrayed. John LaRussa: This song was almost a B-side for me. It was the first song I was happy with for the record. So it's the oldest. But after I messed with it a bunch and got with the band on it, I think it came out better than I thought. Lots of energy and fast-paced, which is what I was shooting for on it. Chris (drums) really helped keep it tight and fast. Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album
