antiMusic reports: The good news for Beyonce
Knowles is that sex sells. The bad news is that her breasts are now available
for viewing on the internet. Beyonce was simply trying to promote her new
clothing line but she inadvertently gave the audience an eye full. This
according to a Contact Music report.
It's being billed as an accident, (or
is it a wardrobe malfunction?) but it could also be called an ironic way
to promote a clothing line by accidentally removing said clothing. It all
happened last week when Beyonce took to the stage at a launch party for
her clothing line at the Dereon in Toronto, Canada, according to Contact
Music.
Hundreds of fans were on hand to witness
Beyonce perform and during an a dance routine her blouse reportedly lifted
up and exposed her bare breasts to the audience. Video of the mishaps is
now making the rounds on the web. We won't link you directly to a site
showing it but if you are industrious you can find - one

Darren Hayes was arrested last week for reportedly racially abusing a waiter
at a Thai restaurant. He turned himself in voluntarily to police and is
currently out on bail.
According to Gigwise, "Hayes was taken
in for questioning by Police on Friday night for racially abusing staff
at the Busaba Eathai on Wardour Street on July 22 "
"We can confirm that a 35-year-old man
was arrested by Westminster police on suspicion of racially abusing a member
of staff," a Scotland Yard spokesman said.- more

antiMusic reports: We had quite a few Van
Halen stories this week including new dates, sellouts, and the man left
out of the reunion Michael Anthony, so instead of recaping each one separately
we'll combine highlights for all of them but we'll kick off with an update
the Van Halen camp sent over today.
Here is the update: Uniondale, NY has been
changed to Thursday, November 8. On Sale date is still To Be Announced.
Tickets for the Detroit, MI show at Joe Louis Arena on October 20 go on
sale this Saturday, 8/25 at 10:00 AM. Also on Saturday Cleveland and Boston
fans get their shot at tickets. The Cleveland show will take place on Rocktober
10th at the Quicken Loans Arena and the Boston show will happen on Rocktober
30th at the TD Banknorth Garden.
Earlier this week we reported on some apparent
snubbing of Michael Anthony. First his image was replaced on album art
on Van Halen's official site but was quickly reinstated. Then a reader
brought to our attention that Anthony's songwriting credits were removed
on the song "Panama" so we dug a little deeper and discovered that his
credits were removed from the entire '1984' album according to the ASCAP
database. However, his credits appear to remain on the rest of the band's
catalog. That
story is here
Anthony himself spoke out this week for
the first time since the reunion tour was announced and he showed some
real class by taking the high road, explaining that he wasn't invited to
take part in the reunion also encouraged fans to give his replacement,
Eddie Van Halen's son Wolfgang, whom he called a "good kid," a chance.
You can read that story with Anthony's complete comments-

antiMusic reports: Will the members of the
Rolling Stones soon start gathering moss? Maybe if a report citing an always
reliable unnamed source is to be believed. In fact, this source says that
Sunday's concert in London will be their swan song.
That's right, Mick and Keef are reportedly
hanging it up following their concert at London's O2 Arena this coming
Sunday (8/26/07), the final stop on their "Bigger Bang Tour."
Strangely, the Stones camp haven't announce
this supposed retirement so maybe they like the irony of going out with
a whisper instead of a bang, contradicting the tour name.-

antiMusic reports: Method Man has agreed to
go back to high school as part of a plea agreement for his drug bust last
May. He pleaded down two charges and as a result will give anti-drug talks
to students.
The Wu-Tang Clan member, real name is Clifford
Smith, has agreed to lecture students at New York City high schools about
the evils of drug use. He pleaded down charges of criminal possession of
marijuana and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs
to a charge of disorderly conduct as part of the agreement.

that his client is "thrilled" to talk with students and added that "He's

PR reports: U.K. artist Lily Allen is regrettably
postponing her upcoming series of West Coast dates. U.S. authorities revoked
her work visa earlier this month when she was entering the country. The
reinstatement process has proven lengthier than anticipated, thus preventing
her tour from launching on September 6th in San Diego, CA.
She has also been forced to pull out of
an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards.
"I am so disappointed that I won't be able
to come to the States at this time," says Lily. "I was really looking forward
to playing these shows and being part of the Video Music Awards. I want
my fans to know that I'll be back as soon as I possibly can!"-

antiMusic reports: All hell broke loose following
Saturday's Warped Tour show at the Gorge Amphitheater when the after party
at a neighboring campground turned into a riot with burning toilets, fights
and five arrests.
Grant County deputies responded to an
injury call at a campground near the Warped event site and when they arrived
they encountered several fights as well as burning portable toilets then
things turned ugly as some campers pelted deputies with beer bottles, cans
and rocks, and the windshield of a fire truck was shattered by debris,
according to AP.
10 area agencies were eventually called
out to the campground which reportedly held an estimated 4,500 people,
many of whom were believed to have been among the 16,400 people that attend
the Warped show earlier in the day.
Police arrested five suspects-

PR reports: Relient K - the band that brought
you Five Score And Seven Years Ago, mmhmm, Two Lefts Don't Make a Right
(But
Three Do) and The Anatomy of the Tongue in Cheek - is heralding the holiday
season in its own inimitable style with the release of its first-ever,
full-length Christmas album: Let It Snow, Baby
Let It Reindeer. The album,
scheduled for release by Capitol Music Group on October 23rd, features
Relient K's take on 10 holiday classics and six original songs.
From the glory of "Handel's Messiah" and
"Angels We Have Heard On High" to the goofiness of 1950's novelty song
"I'm Gettin' Nuttin' For Christmas" and "Santa Clause Is Thumbing To Town"
(wherein Relient K imagines a Christmas full of catastrophes that reduce
St. Nick to hitchhiking), Let It Snow, Baby
Let It Reindeer captures the
many sides of the season.
There's elation ("I Celebrate The Day")
and depression ("I Hate Christmas Parties"), nods to "Boxing Day" and New
Year's Eve ("Auld Lang Syne" - with a new ending) and lots of old-fashioned
fun along the way ("Deck The Halls," "12 Days of Christmas," "Sleigh Ride,"
"We Wish You A Merry Christmas," to name a few). The collection was produced
by Mark Lee Townsend and Relient K vocalist, Matt Thiessen.-

Finger Death Punch, and Droid.

antiMusic reports: Amy Winehouse has pulled
the plug on her upcoming North American tour due to the "rigors" of the
road (for those that haven't been following recent Winehouse news this
excuse is for you). She is eyeing a makeup tour sometime next year. Euro
fans keep your fingers crossed as the Oct / Nov tour over there is still
on. At least for now.
Here is the official statement from the
Winehouse Camp: Due to the rigours involved in touring, Amy Winehouse has
been advised to postpone her upcoming September US and Canadian tour dates.

antiMusic reports: Members of Boston paid
tribute to their late singer Brad Delp on Sunday night. Members of the
band performed one of their signature songs at a tribute concert that also
featured Extreme frontman and guitarist Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt.
The five-hour event took place Sunday night
at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston and was dubbed "Come Together:
A Tribute to Brad Delp". Delp took his own life in March after reportedly
suffering from depression.
Some of the highlights of the evening came
when Cherone and Bettencourt performed a song they had co-written with
Delp. The Boston Globe reports that "Delp's post-Boston outfit with Goudreau,
RTZ, gave a heartfelt performance that included a new number written after
his passing called 'Set the Songbird Free.'" Then Tom Scholz, Barry Goudreau
and Fran Sheehan took to the stage to cap off the event to perform their
hit "Don't Look Back" in honor of Delp.

antiMusic reports: He was called the "Godfather
of Soul" and "The Hardest Working Man in Show Biz" but it looks like he
was also rather busy offstage and the father of quite a few souls. That's
right, another James Brown offspring has been discovered through the wonders
of modern science.
Another child of Brown has been discovered
using DNA testing. The woman that tested positive this time is the third
person proven to be the child of Brown through DNA testing since his death,
his longtime adviser Buddy Dallas told The Augusta Chronicle.
There may be more Brown children out there.-

antiMusic reports: Pete Doherty has hit a
new low if reports are true that gave drugs to his pet kitten. A vet discovered
cocaine in the feline's system and now the troubled rocker is reportedly
being investigated for animal abuse.
The feline became ill (wonder why?) and
was reportedly examined by a RSPCA (Royal Society for the Protection of
Animals) veterinarian. When they ran a blood test to diagnose the problem,
they discovered cocaine in the pet's bloodstream and alerted police, according
to the Mirror. - more

antiMusic reports: Foxy Brown has been ordered
to chill in a jail cell until September after she violated her probation.
She is on probation for a 2006 assualt conviction.
Judge Melissa Jackson found Brown guilty
of violating the terms of her probation by leaving the New York area without
court permission and failing to attend court ordered anger management classes.
Brown was ordered incarcerated until her September 7 sentencing hearing
where she faces up to a year in prison.
Brown was kicked out of the anger management
classes in January after she allegedly threatened a staff member and she
is facing felony charges for assaulting her neighbor with a BlackBerry
phone last month.
As if that wasn't enough, Brown is also

antiMusic reports: It looks like a lot of
moms and dads are going to find an extra charge on their next credit card
statements as two Disney Channel related albums topped the album sales
charts this week. "High School Musical 2" hit No. 1 and "Hannah Montana
2" came in at a distant No 2.
"High School Musical 2" the soundtrack
to the Disney Channel TV movie enjoyed the second biggest debut week this
year with sales of 615,000 copies. Linkin Park hold's the record with 623,000
first week sales of their latest, "Minutes to Midnight".
The Disney Channel exposure also helped
sales of "Hannah Montana 2" which climbed two spots to No 2 with sales
of 83,000. A new episode of the program was aired immediately after "High
School Musical 2" on the children's cable network.

antiMusic reports: Calling Pearl Jam. Ticketmaster
will not renew its contract with the largest US venue operation, Live Nation,
according to an internal memo.
According to the New York Times, Ticketmaster
chairman Terry Barnes and CEO Sean Moriarty sent a memo to employees announcing,
"Live Nation has been a valued client for a very long time and we believe
we've taken every reasonable step possible to facilitate a renewal, but
they seem intent on a direction for their business that leaves us no viable
way to work together."
The two parties have been negotiating a
renewal of their agreement that expires at the end of next year. A sticking
point was reportedly how the two sides would split the excessive monopoly
customer rape charges a.k.a. service and convenience charges.

antiMusic reports: Most people have a price
but it looks like $75 million isn't enough to convince Morrissey to reunite
with Johnny Marr for a Smiths reunion.
Morrissey's publicist told Billboard that
Moz turned down a cool $75 million for a Smiths reunion that required guitarist
Johnny Marr to take part. The offer was for a 2008 and/or 2009 tour according
to the report.
This isn't the first time that Moz has
turned down millions for a reunion. The Smiths reportedly were offered
a multi-million dollar deal to perform at the Coachella Valley Music &

antiMusic reports: With the Rock Star TV series
going down in flames after a dismal season last year (thanks T-Bonehead),
Dave Navarro had a bit of time on his hands and idle hands are the devil's
playthings so Navarro is moving into a new entertainment medium: pornography.
Navarro has taken part in porn star Tera
Patrick and her metalhead husband Evan Seinfeld's new porn series where
they call on celebs to direct feature length porn movies. You can just
bet it took a lot of arm-twisting to convince Dave to do it.
The former Jane's Addiction guitarist's
film entitled "Broken" is set for release on September 27th by Patrick
and Seinfeld's production company Teravision and stars teen porn star Sasha
