(antiMusic) Pete Doherty has hit a new low if reports are true that gave drugs to his pet kitten. A vet discovered cocaine in the feline's system and now the troubled rocker is reportedly being investigated for animal abuse. The feline became ill (wonder why?) and was reportedly examined by a RSPCA (Royal Society for the Protection of Animals) veterinarian. When they ran a blood test to diagnose the problem, they discovered cocaine in the pet's bloodstream and alerted police, according to the Mirror. A RSPCA spokesperson would not confirm that Doherty was the pet owner telling The Star simply, "It is a police matter, so we cannot deny or confirm the identity of the man who had the kitten removed. But it is very important to protect animals from substances that can do them serious harm.” The kitten reportedly snacked on Doherty's crack stash. The Sun reports: "His adult cat – named Dinger, junkie slang for a syringe, recently had a litter of five kittens. When one of them fell ill, a worried vet tested the sick kitten and found cocaine in its bloodstream."
