You Ought To Know Tour 07

The month-long "You Oughta Know" tour kicks off September 6 in Eugene, Oregon and wraps up on November 2 in Seattle, Washington, the hometown of both Brandi and Alison (see full itinerary following). 

The tour will donate $.50 from every ticket sold on the fall tour to the environmental non-profit organization Reverb (www.reverbrock.org). With this donation, Reverb will help Brandi plan an environmentally sustainable tour and will offset the estimated global warming CO2 emissions from the tour with NativeEnergy by helping build new Native American and family farmer owned renewable energy projects.- more on this story including dates

Iggy Pop and The Stooges Live Reunion DVD

The bands performance combined the raw vigour of youthful song writing and the out of the world techniques of veteran musicians. All members of the original line appeared - the Asheton Brothers, Dave Alexander and of course the legendary Iggy Pop. Barely out of their teens in their heyday (1967-1974), The Stooges were as much influenced by Detroit's industrial noise as they were rock groups like the Velvet Underground, The Who, the Stones and experimental jazz artists such as Sun Ra and John Coltrane.

The Mid-Atlantic Blues And Music Festival

Shemekia Copeland, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Lil' Ed & the Blues Imperials, Kenny Neal, John Lee Hooker Jr., Bernard Allison, Tab Benoit and the Legends of the Chicago Blues are just some of the blues giants gathering at THE MID-ATLANTIC BLUES AND MUSIC FESTIVAL, Saturday, Sept. 29 and Sunday, Sept. 30 at Bernie Robbins Stadium, 545 N. As I Lay Dying to Have A Ball This Weekend

The bleak, futuristic clip was shot in Van Nuys, California at Sound City Studios with Brian Thompson (Killswitch Engage, Angels & Airwaves) lending his directorial talents. The video will see its initial debut on www.headbangersblog.com on August 10th along with a special blog entry from the band and will then air on MTV2's Headbanger's Ball on August 11th. Shiger Seattle is a popular singer/songwriter in Second Life. He hails from Raleigh, NC and has been performing live virtual concerts in Second Life for two years. Shiger (she-ger) has built a global following in the virtual community and has been selected to perform at the Second Life Community Convention in Chicago in August 2007. - more on this story

Last Goodnight Video Now Online

"Pictures of you, pictures of me remind us all of what we could have been" sings Kurtis John, front man of The Last Goodnight, in the video for "Pictures of You." Piecing together like a stained glass window, moving from dark to light, the video poetically tells the story of the stark contrast between how things are and how they could be.

Canada Forever In Terror

Forever In Terror, who's sound is a mix of modern day metal, black metal and thrash, began just over three years ago with five fifteen year olds in Streetsboro, Ohio about 30 miles outside of Cleveland.
