The Glee Cast Take On KISS and Lady Gaga This Week

When Gene Simmons recently drew a parallel between KISS and Lady Gaga, he apparently wasn't the only the only one to draw that conclusion as this week's episode of Glee features the (auto-tuned?) Gleeks take on two KISS classics and two Lady Gaga hits. The songs from the episode, entitled Theatricality, are available at iTunes today.

Will tells the Glee kids to express themselves through the music of Lady Gaga ("Bad Romance" and "Poker Face"). Tina goes goth, while Rachel has an encounter that changes her life. Watch this all-new episode of GLEE airing Tuesday, May 25 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Today at 12 a.m. PDT Myspace will premiere, Ne-Yo's "Beautiful Monster," his brand new single, and the first track from his upcoming 4th album, set for September 21st release (details to be announced in the weeks ahead).

Beautiful Monster," Ne-Yo's first major single release in more than a year and a half, is also the first early warning shot from his upcoming new album.

Uncle Kracker Goes Nashville

Uncle Kracker has announced the upcoming release of "Happy Hour: The South River Road Sessions," a 6-song release that will hit stores and all DSPs on June 22nd.

"Happy Hour – The South River Road Sessions" features reinterpretations of tracks originally found on Uncle Kracker's acclaimed 2009 album, "HAPPY HOUR," recorded in Nashville by producers Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band, George Jones) and Rob Cavallo (Kid Rock).

Goldfrapp To Release Alive Single in June

Goldfrapp will release their brand new single "Alive" through Mute on June 8th 2010. "Alive" was written and produced by band mates Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory, follows "Rocket" as the second single to be taken from the duo's fifth album Head First.

The single, with mixes by Joakim, Tensnake, Dave Audé, and Arno Cost, is accompanied by a new video directed by the creative studio, Legs.

Bonnaroo Festival Adds Lunar Stage

The Bonnaroo Festival has announced the newest addition to the 2010 lineup: the Lunar Stage. The stage will be set up outdoors and have a giant screen for fans to watch the World Cup games during the day, starting at 6:30am.

At night the Lunar Stage will morph into an open-air dance party, where world-renowned electronic artists and DJs will be performing late into the night all weekend. The complete lineup is listed below.

Michael Franti Releases Two New Singles

Michael Franti has announced the simultaneous release of two singles from his forthcoming new CD, The Sound of Sunshine, slated for release later this summer.

"Shake It," features guest vocals by Lady Saw, and an undeniably happy groove that makes the song an instant party starter. However, it also has a deeper message about finding beauty in imperfection as Franti sings, "It's not about the way that you look. It's about the way that you shook."

Bellflur enlisted several contributors from fellow DC acts to help realize this vision including members of Deleted Scenes, Exit Clov, Pree, Le Loup, and Meredith Bragg. April Smith And The Great Picture Show are heading west. The group has extended their U.S. headlining tour, currently underway, with an new round of dates west of the Mississippi.

The Brooklyn quintet's previously announced East Coast leg of the tour, hitting Cleveland, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta and other markets, has been extended to a coast-to-coast run through the end of June.
