DMS12 To Get Dirty in June

Juicy Music will release the debut full-length artist album from studio technician/DJ/producer, DMS12, Get Dirty, on June 24th, 2010. A collection of nine hand-picked tunes composed over the course of fourteen months, Get Dirty is a true artist album in the traditional sense (as opposed to a mere collection of same-sounding club bangers), with an aural goodness to engage all moods. From the Latin-tinged saxophone wail of "Saxin' It Up" to the tension-inducing chug of "Move Your Body," and from the foreboding strings of "El Vigilante" to the minimal-techno of "Electronix," Get Dirty showcases DMS12's production chops. Pop sensation David Guetta even ranked "El Vigilante" (Robbie Rivera Mix) as #4 on the FMIF Anthem Chart in Pacha Magazine. Exemplifying controlled mayhem on instrumental tracks like "Promise," and a milky futurism on "Supercomputer," DMS12 takes the studio skills he mastered while working for Emilio Estefan and applies them to an electronica album. DMS12's ease behind the console is heard in the smooth offerings of "This Is Acid" right down to the druggy allure of "Take Me Down." Born in New York City and later living in Miami, DMS12 (real name: Diego Sanchez) caught the attention of the global dance music community in 2009 when his bootleg remix of Faithless' timeless slayer ,"Insomnia" (DMS12 Mix), overtook EDM chat rooms and download sites and eventually worked its way onto big-room dancefloors. After a three-year stint working for Estefan that began in 2001, DMS12 embarked on a string of successful remix projects that included Beyonce's "Naughty Girl" (DMS12 Remix) – which hit #1 on the Billboard Dance and Dance Radio charts for 27 weeks – Gwen Stefoni's "Holla Back Girl" (DMS12 Mix), Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" (DMS12 Mix), as well as remixes for Lauren Hill and Juicy Music founder and label chief, world-renown DJ/producer, Robbie Rivera. In 2007, Paul Van Dyk hailed DMS12 as Van Dyk's #1 pick in his "top 10" for August, for DMS12 vs Aniosis' "Heavy Water." The phone hasn't stopped ringing ever since.
