Moe Green is offering up two new tracks from his upcoming album Rocky Maivia: "Ride" and "Non Title Match"."Ride" is the perfect summer banger, with a soulful laid-back groove constructed by up-and-coming beatsmith MT The Great. "I actually met him on Twitter one day", Moe says of the collaboration, "he sent me the track that night, and the next day I recorded the song", he explained. Moe Green is a part of the new generation of artists who are not only unafraid to try new things, but have adopted a free-spirited approach to making records given the liberties of the digital age. The track showcases Moe's undeniable skill where word-play and charisma work towards creating something special. Hailing from Vallejo, a Bay Area town with a long history of hip-hop legends, Moe Green has a lot to live up to when Rocky Maivia drops this summer. With track like these he's certainly up to the challenge.

Marco Benevento third studio album Between The Needles & Nightfall's opening track "Greenpoint" is being released today as a free mp3 here accompanied by Benevento's homemade video for the song here."'Greenpoint' came from a series of ideas that I wrote on a circuit bent keyboard. It managed to piece itself together over the last two years. I had always thought about recording a tune that didn't have many changes harmonically, but had a lot of variations in drum ideas, circuit bent sounds and amplified piano. Parts come in and out throughout the song. The initial idea arrived during a time when the only thing I could listen to was a Can record called Flowmotion," explains Benevento. "'Greenpoint' is different every time we play it live. I always find that the open-ended tunes are important because it opens the audience up to receive the moment as it's happening and they can tell that you're opened up too."
