Lyle Lovett has announced a 37-city North American summer tour with his Large Band in support of his latest release, Natural Forces. Lovett's tour with the Large Band comes on the heels of a 22-city international tour which included a series of European dates and a debut tour of Australia.
The new tour kicks off on June 18, marking Lovett's fifth Telluride Bluegrass Festival appearance and continues through August 21 at the Hot August Blues festival in Cockeysville, Maryland.
Highlights include Los Angeles (7/23), Chicago (8/6), Toronto (8/10), Vienna, VA (8/17) and Red Rocks (7/30) which will be recorded and aired on 270 radio stations across the country via eTown.
For nearly three decades, Lyle Lovett has defined the modern Texas singer-songwriter. Fusing elements of the blues, country, folk, gospel and jazz - in a career that spans 14 albums and more than four million records sold—Lovett has created his own style of Americana, defying convention and breaking down barriers along the way.
