.
Peter Gabriel Catches Dengue Fever was a top story for this week. Here it is again: (PR) Peter Gabriel's Real World Records today announced that they have licensed Venus On Earth, the latest release from Los Angeles-based Cambodian rock band Dengue Fever from M80 Music. Venus on Earth is Dengue Fever's third full-length record and was released Tuesday in Europe and is available in all territories outside the United States and Canada. The Real World version of Venus will feature a previously unreleased live radio track of "One Thousand Tears of a Tarantula", recorded March 3 at World Café from National Public Radio in Philadelphia. "We have Dengue Fever coming out on Real World Records outside the USA – it's really cool stuff with a small Cambodian singer and big American guys behind!" said Real World Records Founder and Musician Peter Gabriel. "They're California-based but have taken '60's Cambodian pop as their main source of inspiration and it's done with style. It's spirited, impassioned." - more on this story
