(Blabbermouth) According to several eyewitness accounts from fans who attended Stone Temple Pilots' Milwaukee, Wisconsin concert last Friday night (March 26) at the Eagles Ballroom, vocalist Scott Weiland forgot the words to at least a couple of the songs and seemed to be completely lost during "Dead and Bloated", forcing his bandmates to leave the stage in apparent embarrassment and disgust.Writing on the long-running Stone Temple Pilots fan site Below Empty, a fan who goes by the name "ejsme" stated about last night's show, "Although [Scott] sounded really slurry and rambling when talking between songs, he actually did a great job for most of the show. It was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable. And the DeLeos [brothers Dean and Robert DeLeo] didn't seem mad at him or anything. Dean actually came up and played his guitar with the neck stuck between Weiland's legs at one point. "But... once they got to 'Dead and Bloated', partway in, Scott got completely lost and just seemed to forget the whole song, lyrics and melody. They tried to kind of go into a little jammy part to cover until they could get their bearings, but it just kind got more and more off track and Scott never seemed to be able to pick back up."

FMQB reports that the photo feature original members John Nolan and Shaun Cooper, who had left the group in 2003 to form Straylight Run. We will wait for some kind of official announcement, but for now here are the farewell messages from Fazzi and Rubano. Matt Fazzi tells fans: To everyone in the TBS family, it is with great sadness I am announcing today that I am no longer a part of Taking Back Sunday. The last 2 years with Taking Back Sunday have been beyond a dream come true, from touring and playing with bands that I really admire, to playing new places all around the world, to meeting and working with so many wonderful people along the way. It's something that I never once took for granted and that I will never forget. I want to thank Eddie, Matt, Adam and Mark for giving me the chance to play and make music with them, if even for a short while. We've accomplished a lot in a short time that I will forever be proud of. Thanks to everyone involved for making this such a beautiful experience for me, especially YOU, the fans. You have been so warm and receptive to me since I joined and for this I am forever grateful. As for me, I will continue on with my own music and I hope to see some of your smiling faces around soon.

MetalSucks' Axl Rosenberg recently spoke to the legendary Phil Anselmo about his label, Housecore Records, Arson Anthem's first full-length release, and his upcoming autobiography, which will be co-authored by MetalSucks' own Corey Mitchell. Here's an excerpt:I know you're going to start working on your autobiography soon with a writer that we work with, Corey Mitchell... I was just wondering if you could tell us anything about that and what you have in store for the book. Well, as opposed to what most people may figure or think or imagine that I'm going to write about, this is not a book that's in any way, shape or form really like your average rock book. It's not a pissing contest when it comes to the death of my guitar player. [correcting himself] The murder of my guitar player. Honestly, it's coming from my perspective of being a guy that has fought through chronic pain his entire career, and what it's like to be in my situation with all the pitfalls, all the crooked f**king doctors out there, all the things that can go wrong. It's well documented how many things have gone wrong in my career. So, it's kind of my take on that, and a lot of the lessons I've learned from pain - chronic pain itself. You can win or lose, straight-up. Anyone who deals with chronic pain can attest that it f**king creeps into the mind, y'know?

After years of speculation, groundbreaking English hardcore band GBH has announced plans to release their eleventh studio album, Perfume and Piss, via Hellcat Records on April 6. There isn't a self-respecting gutter punk, hardcore kid or subcultural miscreant alive who hasn't seen the GBH logo emblazoned on the back of a leather jacket, a denim vest, or a torn-up t-shirt. And now the world will be slapped upside the head with another reminder as to exactly why GBH is so important, in the form of Perfume and Piss, the legendary and iconic punk band's first album for Hellcat Records. Barn-burning, fist-pumping, palace-gates-storming tracks like "Kids Get Down," "Cadillac One" and "This is Not the Real World" carry the torch forward with the band's trademark fury that is alternately nihilistic, optimistic, pessimistic, anarchist, violent, humorous and deadly serious all at once.

Serj Tankian has recorded and is currently mixing a new studio album, titled Imperfect Harmonies, which will be the follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2007 solo debut Elect the Dead. As with Elect the Dead, Tankian is producing Imperfect Harmonies himself at his home studio in Los Angeles. The album will be released by Serjical Strike/Reprise Records in late summer. "Elect the Dead is essentially a rock record with progressive melodic elements," Tankian says. "Imperfect Harmonies could be classified as rock because it is punchy with many peaks throughout, but the instrumentation is somewhat different. Though there are live drums, bass, and some guitars, the driving aspects are electronic and orchestral. It's quite unique in its sound palette. This is, in essence, music that has sat in the vat and matured to a ripe sensation and is now ready to serve."

Check out Big Jay Oakerson hosting the Jagermeister Tour and the Mayhem Festival! He'll be doing some hilarious comedy bits between sets and making his way around the venues during the shows to interact with fans!Jay Oakerson began honing his storytelling style of stand-up comedy after a series of dead-end jobs, like driving around strippers and escorts in his hometown of Philadelphia. This won him the comedy portion of the Salem Orb-E Future Faces Competition and gave him the chance to perform at New York City's noted comedy club Carolines on Broadway. Now a ten-year stand-up veteran, the 31-year-old New York City resident has made comedy his full-time job, flooring audiences with anecdotal bits about ultra-macho frat boys or being too fat for karate. Jay has performed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and is currently starring and writing consultant on the hit IFC show Z-Rock, where he received critical acclaim for his performance as "Neil", the sexually questionable owner of a NYC rock club. Jay has also appeared on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and Dave Attell's Insomniac Tour, and was a contributing writer for Chappelle's Show.

Welcome to Singled Out! where we ask artists to tell us the inside story of their latest single. Today Shaka Ponk tells us about "How We Kill Stars" from their new album "Bad Porn Movie Trax". "How We Kill Stars" is about the reality TV injuries. How the music biz destroyed the star concept by creating fake plastic icons to sell fast. Some big label boss told us that trash TV saved his job. He said, "We can sell whatever we want if people saw it on TV." How a stupid girl for 3 weeks on trash TV program can become a star for the masses
Then all the communication process is done, we just have to make songs and we have our new fake plastic little Madonna
then tching tching! NO MORE « I love you so let's make love » BUT « we had sex so let's fall in love!!!! » God dam scary, no? For the video we chose a band that is anti-reality-TV-star, a real authentic rock band, a legend: RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS and the famous video GIVE IT AWAY. The goal was to make a cheap cover of this video, using bad blinking effects, paint and stains to destroy it as the music biz destroys authenticity. They use kids to sell hope and then throw them away ("TRY me, Kill me"). Everything is "Biomechanic"- pure art mixes with business, what's real with what's fake as bio and meca
Hearing (and seeing) is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, check out the video here or listen for yourself and learn more about the album and band
