Hungary quintet The Moog are finally crossing the pond for a full U.S. tour in support of their sophomore release Razzmatazz Orfeum, with fellow post-punk dance outfit The Photo Atlas. The boys from Budapest kick off in LA on April 28th, with stops in major cities across the country including San Francisco, Houston, Atlanta, NYC, Boston and Chicago before ending in Denver.
The Moog blend 60s garage, art-rock and catchy pop with an enigmatic stage show. Led by baritone-voiced singer Tonyo Szabo, THE MOOG are a combination of both alternative and pop influences made unique by the band's Eastern European sound.
The recent single "When I See You" and its video, by director Anthony Garth (who shot the White Stripes' clips for "We Are Going To Be Friends" and "Hotel Yorba") is currently receiving air-play at all major US music video outlets, including FUSE and MTV (a favorite at Subterranean).
