He tells Rolling Stone: "I can't afford to just see if something's going to happen. These are my years of doing something. I'm probably at my peak creatively and I want to use it. Fresh off the success of her five year run with the WWE and currently starring in the NBC hit show "Celebrity Apprentice," Maria Kanellis is embracing her virtues and vices by releasing her first EP "Sevin Sins" on Elytron Records and available now on iTunes.Drawing upon her own "mortal sins," Maria combines her sexy and sultry lyrics with her sassy rock music. "I have had a couple great loves but one man was my muse and when I lost him I was left with a void that I filled with music," Maria says. "Seven is my lucky number and Vin is my boyfriend's nickname. Plus, I've always loved Dante's inferno. I love how everything you do effects you later. We were born with the desire to sin but society tells us we shouldn't. We do these sins in relationships because we are blind on love, trying to protect others, or are afraid of our own mortality. Sevin Sins are the things we try to avoid but sometimes our actions cause our own hell on earth." The first single '"Fantasy" is quickly burning up the rock charts. "'Fantasy' was inspired by wanting to be the one for your one -- their Fantasy. It also describes the connection between two people that you know no matter what time, distance, people, jobs, or relationships nothing can take away that connection and that soul mate -- that Fantasy. You dream of them, you miss them, and you wonder what they would say about everything but it's just in your head."

Ours frontman, Jimmy Gnecco, will release his self-produced first solo effort, The Heart, July 20, 2010 on Bright Antenna through Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group. The first single, "Bring You Home," will go to radio June 22, 2010. 'The Heart' is graceful, personal, and at times hymnal. Songs such as "Mystery" and "Take A Chance" channel Gnecco's undeniable talent as a singer, songwriter, and musician. Gnecco performs every instrument heard on the album guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums among others but it's his exceptional and soulful voice that takes center stage. His perfectly controlled falsetto on "Rest Your Soul" establishes a potent sense of intimacy that he sustains for the record's duration. When asked about the power and purpose of his beautiful, melancholy sound, Gnecco says, "There's enough pain out there without you going looking for it, but certain combinations of notes and chords can bring out compassion and a sense of connection in people. Happy or sad, I want to make music that makes my heart feel
a lot of this record is about me embracing my past and finding peace with it."

Steve Vai released a new live album, "Where The Other Wild Things Are," on April 13, 2010. The 12-track album is the second companion CD to be released alongside the 2009 concert film "Live In Minneapolis: Where The Wild Things Are," which is currently available on DVD and Blu-ray. The DVD made a #4 debut on Billboard's Top Music DVD Chart, went Gold in both the USA and Canada and the track "Now We Run" was nominated for a 2010 Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental. This new album features songs from the DVD that were not previously released on the first CD. Vai explains: "The original CD release for 'Where the Wild Things Are' consisted of songs from the concert DVD that had never been released in a live format before. It's a robust CD! The other songs that were performed at the concert but were not released on the CD were burning a hole in the hard drive and beckoning me for the light of day, so I thought, even though these songs have been released in live versions with other bands from the past, my new band with the two sweetly screaming violins gives them a whole new life. So we decided to release a second disc that contains all the tracks that were not on the first disc. And there you have it, "Where the Other Wild Things Are," and it's even 'robuster' than the first one."

The Futureheads will be hitting U.S. shores early this summer to play a set of shows in support of their upcoming release, The Chaos, set to drop June 1 on NYC based Dovecote Records. The tour, which is the band's first US tour in more than four years, will kick off with a special record release show on June 1st in Brooklyn at The Music Hall of Williamsburg and take the band through major markets on the East Coast before it wraps in Chicago on June 12 at Lincoln Hall. Stay tuned for West Coast tour dates to be announced in the coming weeks. Seven years since the release of their first record, The Futureheads have long since outgrown scenes, shed immediate ties with their post-punk and new wave influences and outlived many of their peers as a real British favorite. Following high profile tours with The Pixies and Foo Fighters, the band retreated into the studio to record the 11 brilliant and exciting tracks that make up The Chaos. On this, their fourth release, the band have taken their signature sound and blasted right through their own mold for what is arguably the foursome's most riotous album to date.
