Tim came up with the idea of using an alternate singer, but we were hesitant to do that until we realized he was right and things were not getting better. We decided to get another vocalist and quickly found Peter." Orullian, a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, who currently resides in the Seattle area, received classical vocal training from the renowned late maestro David Kyle. A brand new song from Canadian melodic thrash metal pioneers Annihilator is available to listen to online now at the Earache Records MySpace page. The new song, titled "Coward", comes off Annihilator's upcoming self-titled album, which is due to be released in Europe on 17th May. Listen to the new track online at http://www.myspace.com/earacherecords Annihilator guitarist and mainman JEFF WATERS comments: "This one turned out pretty fast and thrashy but has a pretty cool slow-down in the middle of the tune. Dave (Padden) wrote the lyrics on this and is pretty pissed off at someone; I think, a former friend of the family. Nothing really technical and difficult, other than some limb-cramping guitar picking and non-stop drum rippage, but I would describe it as simply a headbanging, no-B.S. metal scorcher. I am looking forward to posting some more songs from the new CD soon, as each song seems to really be different. Cheers metal friends!"

New England metal troupe The Breathing Process are road-bound, kicking off a 25-date US tour last week in support of their recently issued Candlelight full-length Odyssey: (Un)Dead. The Breathing Process have prided themselves on the hybrid nature of their music. Splicing symphonic black metal with brutal death metal, the band further manage to introduce elements of epic ambience and melody unseen by most acts in today's realm of heavy music. Now with the release of Odyssey: (Un)Dead the band look to break through to a larger audience delivering an amazing album that is already eagerly anticipated. The record features 12 tracks and was produced by Dave Otero (Cephalic Carnage). Conceptually based on a single person's journey down the path of exile, the new songs progress in bold, varying movements that emphasize the power and landscapes of the world's natural elements: Oceans, forests, great plains, glaciers and deserts. These elements are reflected in the songs themselves, almost as if each song is an interpretation of the world's vastness. Huge, grandiose keyboard flourishes blend with pulverizing riffs and breakneck drumming, topped off by a perfect balance of screamed and sung vocal patterns -- it is a treasured listen.

Proclaimed inventors of a new genre of music coined Appalachian Rock, Big Daddy Love's new CD is about to set the music world on fire! These are the things I was thinking of when I coined the genre 'Appalachian Rock'. "
