antiMusic reports: Glorior Belli took to their Myspace page to give fans some bad news: Glorior Belli are forced to cancel their participation to the North-American tour with Absu.Candlelight was not qualified enough to get everything arranged legally for the coming of the band and couldn't acquire the appropriate papers. Therefore we have no other choice but to pull out. They had all the time necessary and this mess is INEXCUSABLE. We strongly condemn this organization and are extremely disappointed by this kind of attitude coming from our label.

MMP reports: Metal Mind Productions presents the exclusive re-releases of two albums by The Abyss, one of the most fascinating projects ever to emerge on the Scandinavian black metal scene. Brought to life by the musical mastermind Peter Tδgtgren and two members of the lethal death metal act Hypocrisy, this diabolical group took all the best elements of old-school black metal and combined them into a filthy, obscure creation of pure blasphemy. These re-releases of the band's two classic albums "The Other Side" and "Summon the Beast" shed some light on one of the darkest and most hateful acts ever to plague the music industry. Metal Mind Productions will release both titles on 6th July in Europe and 11th August in USA (via MVD). New digipak edition is limited to numbered 1000 copies. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process on a golden disc.

PR reports: Glam rock, literature and theatre collide when Donovan Leitch's new musical, The Dark Root of the Dream has its world premiere at Largo at the Coronet Theatre on Saturday, June 6 at 8:00PM. Co-written with guitarist/songwriter Lanny Cordola, the story follows the life of prolific rock star Mr. E, the fictional son of poet Virginia Woolf. Plunged into a psychological abyss after the suicide of his mother, Mr. E undergoes an identity crisis, believing himself to be Oscar Wilde, Edgar Allen Poe, and Frederich Nietzche amongst others, before finding that his only redemption is to plunge into his own soul sickness. The show is directed by Ken Roht, creator of the 99’ Only Show. The music is an adept blend of gypsy influences and the music of David Bowie and T-Rex in a new genre Leitch terms "Gypsy Glam." It will feature the musical backing of the Fishtank Ensemble, appropriately termed a "cross-pollinated group of gypsy musicians."
