Metal Pedophile Back In Jail
Blabbermouth reports: According to the web site of the New Jersey Department of Corrections, former Static-X and Dope guitarist Tripp Eisen, whose real name is Tod Rex Salvador, is back in jail as of December 10, 2008 following an apparent parole violation. He is currently scheduled to be released on October 19, 2009.

Tripp Eisen was paroled from the Mid-State Correctional Facility and was released from custody on April 17, 2007 after serving time for allegedly meeting and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in January 2005.

Eisen was arrested in Orange County, California in late February 2005. The then-39-year-old musician allegedly met the Sayreville, New Jersey girl on the Internet, drove from Pennsylvania on January 7, 2005 to meet her, and assaulted her in a shopping center in Old Bridge, New Jersey. The girl's mother found out about the incident and alerted police. - But there was another girl and another arrest

Osbourne Rehab
Hecklerspray reports: Kelly Osbourne has checked into rehab for the next 30 days. We didn't know pastry could be so addictive. Kelly Osbourne holds the key to all kinds of different - yet equally universal - problems. For instance, we've all been in the situation where a national newspaper has printed a story claiming that a loved one doesn't know what an earthquake is - that's just a normal part of growing up. But what should you do in that scenario?

Kelly Osbourne knows - she thinks you should march up to the journalist who wrote the story and thump them in the face in front of several people until you're arrested. It seems to work quite well, but only if you're under the influence or drugs or drink or 'personal problems' or whatever the hell is up with Kelly Osbourne at the moment.

You see, just days after her arrest Kelly Osbourne has decided to check into a rehab facility. Which would normally be a fairly responsible thing to so, except Kelly didn't think it through - by going into rehab, Kelly's left Sharon Osbourne to talk on her behalf, and - that's never a good idea.

Slash Fights For His Right To Party
AP reports: A judge says Slash and his wife can pursue a lawsuit against the brokers who sold them what they thought was a party-worthy Hollywood Hills home.

The former Guns N' Roses guitarist claims real estate agent Gregory Holcomb and Sotheby's International Realty misrepresented the house they bought in 2006 and later sold.

They wanted enough size and parking for parties, but say the home was smaller than advertised and on a public street with parking restrictions. - more on this story

Angry Ape reports: Coldplay are already working on new material and they've hooked up with producer Brian Eno again.

It's thought the group are eager to record the follow-up to last year's highly successful 'Viva La Vida', as a source claimed in August 2008 that their next record was already half-written.

Coldplay confirmed the news of the recording sessions by a Twitter update, which reads: "The band are back in the studio for a couple of weeks with Brian Eno... Prospekt". - more on this story

Vannucci told Q that he has acquired some new "on-the-road" recording equipment enabling them to record while touring.

McCartney To Marry Again?
NME reports: Is Macca really gonna tie the knot again or is the UK music press getting ahead of themselves again? NME reports: Paul McCartney and girlfriend Nancy Shevell are reportedly planning to marry.

The couple, who have been seen in public together regularly for the past year, are now legally allowed to marry after Shevell's divorce from lawyer Bruce Blakeman was finalised in December.

AP reports: The two women members of 1970s hit group ABBA have rejected long-standing rumors that they are bitter enemies.

In a rare joint interview published Friday, Agnetha Faltskog, 58, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, 63, took a chance to set the record straight.

"A lot has been written about how Agnetha and I fought and quarreled with each other. There is absolutely no truth in that," Lyngstad was quoted as saying by tabloid Aftonbladet. "Of course we competed, but to good effect." - more on this story

Deluxe Darkness for Springsteen
Reuters reports: Bruce Springsteen is about to release a new album and play the Super Bowl XLIII halftime show, but there's another project in the works that will be welcomed by fans: a deluxe reissue of 1978's "Darkness on the Edge of Town."

The "Darkness" package will be similar to Columbia's 2005 30th-anniversary boxed-set treatment of the New Jersey rocker's "Born to Run." That reissue included a Grammy-winning documentary about the album's creation and a 1975 concert from London.

It was a huge hit with fans, debuting at No. 18 on the U.S. album chart with first-week sales of more than 53,000 copies. - more on this story

About Face: Flea Denies Joining Legendary Band
MusicRadar reports: MusicRadar spoke exclusively with Gayle Fine of Q Prime Management. Fine, who manages the Chili Peppers, had spoken with Flea several times during the day about the stories that the famed bassist was taking part in a Faces reunion (something Rod Stewart also denied).

"Flea doesn't know where these stories are coming from," Fine said. "But I can't tell you for a fact that, as far as him joining The Faces, it's simply not true."

When asked about the message on the Chili Peppers' website, Fine sighed and said, "That was taken from a story from Rolling Stone, and frankly, I don't know how that got up there. When you have a band this big, people get very enthusiastic. I'm going to have that taken down, of course." - more on this story
