antiMusic reports: We continue our look at outstanding artists this week with Mike Mangione. This critically acclaimed Midwestern singer/songwriter's latest new album "Tenebrae" is getting a wide release this week and we caught up with Mike to tell us a little bit about his favorite tracks from the album. Here he is with today's song: You Don't Wanna Leave: This was written at 4am coming home from a show in Iowa City. I would write with a pad of paper on the steering wheel occasionally checking my handwriting with the interior lights. I was around Beloit when the ideas really started flowing. It's about always looking ahead and missing what's there in front. Grasping so far that what you truly need gets overlooked. The chorus is very specific to a traveling singer/songwriter, "big wheels will lay you down in the chords of another town". This is the most impersonal/personal song I have written. Sometimes I feel it was written about me and sometimes about someone else, it's weird. I never get tired of playing it (at least not yet). Hearing is believing so preview some songs from the album, learn more about Mike, grab tour dates and more right

antiMusic reports: The child soft porn keeps coming from Miley Cyrus. The person that reportedly hacked her cell phone has released a new batch of racy photos with more promised in the future. According to 2Snaps.tv the hacker, TrainReq, " was smart and didn't leak all the Miley Cyrus pictures he stole from her e-mail at once. He knows how to build anticipation and suspense." The blogger was excited at the prospect of more child softporn pix of the Disney star, "I am guessing since these latest Miley candids feature new and improve positions, including a never before seen butt shot, that there are even more and better ones to come. Hopefully this becomes a regular two-week, Monday morning kind of thing" The full 2Snaps post Fox News reports: Someone needs to keep Miley Cyrus away from the cameras... at least the personal cameras anyway. The "Hannah Montana" sensation is embroiled in yet another photo scandal, with the latest photos showing the 15-year-old pulling up her shirt to reveal her stomach and white underpants. But that's not all: The latest round of racy pics also features Cyrus showing-off her lil' bod in an itsy-bitsy bikini.

punknews.org reports: Say Anything frontman Max Bemis recently launched a unique initiative, offering to write new acoustic songs for paying fans. The band explained: In an effort to minimize the gap between music listeners and performers, take up time on warped tour, and find some solution for the fact that anyone can download any of his gosh-darn albums for free, Max came up with a predictably crazy idea in a haze of sleeping medication. Max has decided to open the door for a limited time to Say Anything fans to submit ONE to TWO paragraphs about an issue they are having, a serious problem they are going through, or even something they just felt should be written about. Max will take two to three days to deliver an acoustic, full length actual Say Anything song based on your experiences and what you submitted! Each song is 100 percent written by Max for YOU, the buyer.

Blabbermouth reports: Co-host Red and intern Jim Bob of the "Rockin Metal Revival" show recently conducted an interview with former Dokken lead guitarist George Lynch. When asked about the possibility of a Dokken reunion with him on guitar, Lynch said, "I did an interview yesterday with Metal Hammer [magazine] in Europe and the guy had just spoken to Don [Dokken]. And Don's response to that same question was the interviewer told me was that this is all coming from George, nobody else has any interest. Now that is absolutely not true. "The actual truth is that, yes, my management company has been instrumental in encouraging this to happen, and I'm all for it. But everybody else has agreed in principle at three different occasions over the past few years at looking into doing this to try to put it together and have it make sense. And for various reasons it has not happened. But to characterize this as I'm the one that is pounding the table, and everyone else is reluctant astronauts is completely false.

TMZ reports: Nigel Lythgoe is off "American Idol." TMZ has learned Lythgoe, who has executive produced the show for seven seasons, has just taken himself off the program and will not return. No replacement has been named. We're told Lythgoe felt it was time for someone else to step in. Sources say he's said privately he is "not passionate about it anymore." "A.I.'s" ratings slipped last season, and the show was getting a little boring. We're also told Lythgoe is working on some kind of a joint venture with Simon Fuller, who created "Idol." Lythgoe wants to spend his time on "So You Think You Can Dance." [wow, even more vapid!]

antiMusic reports: This summer we're taking you on tour vicariously with some of today's best bands. We continue with the Mayhem Festival with this entry from Five Finger Death Punch's Matt Snell: The last few weeks on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem tour have been nothing short of amazing. >From the kiln like temperatures of Phoenix, to the Monsoon weather in Albuquerque, this tour rages on. Denver remains in my mind as the most memorable thus far. Maybe it was the altitude or the people, but that place truly rocked. We managed to get in and out of florida without being rained on. Much better for us than last year. We were fortunate enough to spend 6 hours at the bus repair shop since they didn't have OIL!!!! Wonder what would happen if all the bands showed up and didn't have instruments.....hmmmm... Ok , I'm wandering a bit... The tour continues to draw huge crowds and we haven't even hit the Midwest yet!!! Today is Pittsburgh. We had a lot of fun here last year, so as I'm drinking my bus brewed starbucks with half and half.... I can only imagine the devastation that is in store for this place. Five Finger Death Punch are on the Mayhem Festival supporting their latest release "The Way of the Fist". Now go grab dates and hear why you should grab tix to this tour
