PR reports: Building on its reputation as a welcome home for country music artists, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. will be the exclusive home of Aaron Tippin's newest CD entitled He Believed. On sale at all Cracker Barrel locations beginning May 6, He Believed features six classic tracks and six recently recorded songs, including the title song which is Aaron's incredibly moving tribute to his father."Although this CD is dedicated to my Dad, I hope it speaks to everyone who has had a mentor like he was to me," says Tippin. "I am grateful to Cracker Barrel for believing in me and this music. I am honored to partner up with Cracker Barrel on this project that is so dear to my heart." Similar to his previous #1 hit records, Aaron and his wife, Thea, wrote several of the recently recorded songs on this record, including He Believed. The song is a touching story inspired by the unexpected death of Aaron's father in 2005. The lyrics powerfully describe the emotional connection between Aaron and his father who was also his best friend and mentor. He Believed also features six of Aaron's top recordings including: Working Man's PHD, Whole Lotta Love On The Line and I Got It Honest.

Hooked on Caps Records reports: CULT OF LUNA founder and guitarist, Johannes Persson gives fans a major treat as he gives them a taste of what is in store for them on the band's hotly anticipated 5th full-length release, ETERNAL KINGDOM."The world of the ETERNAL KINGDOM is harsh and hostile and that was something we felt was needed to express through the music. The turn to a harder and heavier sound was also very welcomed on our side after two albums of exploring atmospheric and meditative music." The recently released artwork of ETERNAL KINGDOM also has a deep connection to the music contained within. "The artwork is inspired by old woodcuts and it is definitely the right way of maintain and amplify the harshness of the ETERNAL KINGDOM. With the Man/Owl king in the middle, it is a perfect visual representation of how the album is going to sound." CULT OF LUNA recently finished recording their upcoming new album, ETERNAL KINGDOM, at Tonteknik Studios in the band's hometown of Umea. The follow-up to 2006's SOMEWHERE ALONG THE HIGHWAY, ETERNAL KINGDOM will be released on June 16th in Europe and July 8th in the U.S.

PR reports: Buddahead's Ashes, the quartet's second album, is at its heart the chronicle of a musical, geographical and emotional journey that frontman and songwriter Raman Kia found himself on, a thinly veiled life story that is as incendiary as it is cathartic. Look for Ashes to hit the street and Internet on June 17 on the bands own label Fear Of Cheese Records. By any reckoning Iranian native Kia has an extraordinary story to tell; he calls Ashes "music to lament to," and he is only half-joking. As a small boy, he fled Tehran for London with his father, after witnessing up close the internecine violence of the Islamic Revolution. In the U.K., he was reintroduced to the mother he'd virtually never known, since she'd left her Iran years before him, and he found himself placed in the strange, regimented environment of a British military school. As he grew up, the feelings that Kia was unable to articulate in words alone found expression in songs. He was so intuitively skilled at this creative channeling that he attracted the interest of a major London music publisher. As Kia built a repertoire, he decided to go to the United States in pursuit of his first record deal. After making the rounds in New York City and Los Angeles, he signed a deal with Interscope Records. So far so good, but it wasn't long before he discovered that the industry was more interested in molding him to suit the tastes of the moment than in exploring what he might really have to offer in his own right. One can understand why: Kia has an impressive, elastic vocal range, able to perform hushed ballads as eloquently as anthemic rockers.

PR reports: On May 20, legendary NYC underground house label Nervous Records teams up with HOT US-based DJ/production/remix team Starkillers (AKA Nick Terranova) and Austin Leeds for Nervous Nitelife: Vegas. Nervous Nitelife: Vegas is a perfect representation of both the artists and the city of choice Sin City. Both are unpredictable, flashy and above everything else, all about the party. Unlike most mix CDs currently on the market, Nervous Nitelife: Vegas provides an up to the minute account of what the artist is all about. Naturally, the CD highlights the DJs' mixing skills, but it goes far beyond pulling together a bunch of tracks you've already heard a million times. Terranova and Leeds really stepped up to the plate and created a CD that is heavy on their own exclusive productions and remixes, while a companion DVD provides insight into both the artists and the Las Vegas clubbing scene. This is the quintessential Starkillers & Austin Leeds sound and the music simply does not get any fresher than this.
