Walker's Last Day |
Band Statement reports: On The Last Day Fans,
We regret to inform you that singer Geoff Walker will no longer be a part
of On The Last Day. For a while now, the band (Aaron, Drew, Frank, and
Justin) has been trying to grow in a direction that Geoff's presence would
not allow. We feel that this course of action is ultimately the best for
On The Last Day to continue its natural progression. We wish Geoff the
best of luck with his future endeavors-- wherever they may lead.
Make no mistake, On The Last Day will not
stop here. Aaron, Drew, Frank, and Justin will continue On The Last Day
without Geoff and begin searching for a new vocalist immediately. We currently
have new material in the works and hope to debut it as soon as possible.
If you would like to audition, please contact
us at: singforotld@gmail.com We hope you all understand.-

Reilly to Support Morello |
PR reports: Ike Reilly, the leader of Chicago-based
band The Ike Reilly Assassination, is confirmed to be joining Tom Morello
(a.k.a. The Nightwatchman) on a tour leg primarily through the West Coast
of the United States. Reilly will be hitting the road with Morello sans
Assassination and will be hooking up with Morello’s tour in July. Reilly
is touring in support of his recently-released album, “We Belong To The
Staggering Evening.”
Reilly, who like Morello grew up in Libertyville,
Illinois, has been popping up periodically at Morello's Axis of Justice
shows in Los Angeles and was often present as The Nightwatchman evolved
on the open mic scene in L.A.
Says Morello of the tour dates with Reilly:
“When two Illinois rogues hit the road together anything can happen, and
anything will. We are on a mission. It's like a Woody Guthrie/Pete Seeger
combo for the new millennium. Fathers, hide your Republican daughters."
Reilly adds, "Hide ALL of your daughters."[your

Adams Goes Easy on the Tiger |
Filter reports: For most Ryan Adams fans,
90 days without a new album is an eternity, and it’s been over a year since
2005’s heartbreaking ode to death and decay 29. Fortunately, Adams is set
to release a fresh batch of alt-country classics called Easy Tiger on June
26th, and buzz over the singer/songwriter’s new-found maturity and finesse
is making Easy Tiger out to be the more fully-realized record Ryan Adams
fans have been waiting for.
As he said in a recent message to his fans,
“right now it’s all about the tiger.”

Out, Cheese In for 10,000 Lakes Fest |
PR reports: The 10,000 Lakes Festival (10KLF)
announces the addition of The String Cheese Incident to the lineup, confirming
a Minnesota performance on their summer tour. The Colorado-based group
has spent more than a decade making innovative, genre-defying music and
will perform two sets at the 10,000 Lakes Festival Friday, July 20 on the
Main Stage.
“The String Cheese Incident is thrilled
to be returning to 10KLF for the third time and are looking forward to
performing in the North Woods once again,” says SCI manager Mike Luba.
10KLF announces today that guitarist Trey
Anastasio will be unable to perform at the event in 2007 due to circumstances
beyond control. Anastasio's spokesperson confirms "Trey is disappointed
he is unable to play the festival this year but is looking forward to returning
for the 2008 10,000 Lakes Festival."
Updated artist schedule information will
be released as it becomes available and will be posted to the 10,000 Lakes
