Gay Idol Lawsuit
TMZ reports: Former "American Idol" finalist Mario Vasquez is facing accusations that he tried to masturbate in front of a male employee in a bathroom on the set of the hit show in February 2005. Shortly thereafter, Vasquez mysteriously dropped out of "Idol," citing personal reasons.

According to the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court and obtained by TMZ, Vazquez allegedly "sexually harassed" Magdaleno Olmos, assistant accountant for Fremantle Media, the company that produces American Idol.

In the lawsuit, Olmos claims "Vazquez stared lasciviously, smiled lasciviously and on one occasion followed him into a bathroom ... knocked on the door of the plaintiff's stall and made eye contact through the space in the stall door." Snoop Drug Bust
hecklerspray reports: The police must throw a happy little party when they hear that Snoop Dogg is coming to town, because chances are they'll get to arrest him at some point - just like how Swedish police officers got to arrest Snoop Dogg on a drugs bust earlier today.

Details are a little vague at the moment, but it seems as if Snoop Dogg and a young lady were arrested for suspected narcotics use when a car they were travelling in was stopped in Stockholm last night. Snoop and his friend were detained for four hours by Swedish police overnight and 'body samples' were taken and sent away for testing. It's thought that the Swedish police determined that Snoop Dogg was under the influence of drugs by looking at his eyes and watching how he moved, although an equally good plan would have probably been to just listen to any Snoop Dogg song ever recorded, basically putting two and two together and arresting Snoop Dogg on the off-chance anyway.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Matchbook Romance Break Up
punkbands reports: You read it right. Here's how they explained it: Today is a sad day. Because it is on this day that we, the members of Matchbook Romance, have decided to part ways and go on an indefinite hiatus. This was not at an easy decision for us to come to, as it seems it's taken months for the words to even form on the tips of our tongues. Its a decision that we thought we would never have to make, but unfortunately, after 5 years its a decision that best suits our situations.

We're going to miss all of our adoring fans, and friends that we've made on this adventure. We thank all of you for letting this thing we started into your hearts and for holding us in such high regard. We love all of your stories of traveling across the country just to see us play one show, and we love all the amazing gifts you guys have handcrafted for us personally. You will not be forgotten, and hopefully the music of Matchbook Romance won't be either.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
