Buzznet reports: Wentz and the Fall Out Boy
crew were performing an acoustic show at Schuba's - on Monday hosted by
Spin magazine - when things went horribly wrong.
Shortly after taking the stage, "a man
in the audience started heckling Pete," a source tells PerezHilton.com
exclusively. "The man was making fun of Pete's hoody, mocking Ashlee Simpson
and calling Pete a sell-out."
After performing only a three song set,
the band got up and walked off stage, but before Wentz walked out the side
door he "he lunged for the heckler in the audience and punched him in the
side of the face. A few other guys got some shots in, including a bodyguard
and some random guy from the audience. [he's so punk rawk he should tour

CMJ reports: The Federal Trade Commission
(FTC) filed a lawsuit on June 5 against several operators of the online
music retailer BurnLounge.com, claiming that the website, which allows
subscription-paying members to sell albums from personalized profiles called
"Burnpages" in exchange for a small commission, is a pyramid scheme. The
recent move by the FTC comes on the heels of a year-long investigation
by the state of South Carolina into BurnLounge's questionable business
practices. A majority of the site's profits, according to the FTC, stem
not from sales of digital music, but from exorbitant subscription fees,
which range from $30 for a basic membership to $600 for "Mogul" status
and selling privileges.[see full story for more]- Click

TuneLab reports: In a recent interview with
Billboard, Tool guitarist Adam Jones stated that the band is "tossing around
ideas for a band movie". Jones said,
"We all have ideas about it. If I had my
way, it would be a narrative story in a surreal fashion with as much money
and special effects we could throw at it. I think some of the other guys
would like to do pockets of all of that or something that's live or we're
playing. It's just talk right now."[see full story for more]-
