3 Felony Game
TMZ reports: Rapper The Game has been charged with making a criminal threat and with possession of a firearm in a school zone during a Feb. 24 pickup basketball game, according to the L.A. District Attorney's office.

The rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, allegedly got into an altercation with a player on an opposing team during a basketball game at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in South Los Angeles. After allegedly punching the victim, cops say The Game pulled a gun from his red Escalade and threatened to pop the victim. Not very sportsmanlike!

The 27-year-old is also charged with one count of exhibiting a firearm in the presence of an officer. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday for the three felonies.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Fall Out Ashlee Duet
punkbands reports: When it comes to mixing recording and romance, things can get tricky. Ashlee Simpson is hoping that her romance won’t go the way of Jessica and Nick when she records with boyfriend Pete Wentz. We’ll see. It has been reported that for her new album, Ashlee will be bringing some romance into the recording booth. Simpson, 22, has been working hard on the follow up to 2005’s “I am me”.

To bring a little extra star power to the new record, she has invited Fall Out Boy’s bassist/exhibitionist Pete Wentz to join her on tape. She has secretly recorded a song with Pete, 27, that she’s hoping to include on her CD, which comes out later this year. [can't wait for the video. She can lip-sync and he can "pose"] - Click Here for the Full Story

Lily Alcoholic
Launch reports: Lily Allen has claimed she's an alcoholic and is heading for an early death. The U.K. pop starlet had endured a difficult few months in the public eye, pulling a string of live shows in America and feuding with Cheryl Tweedy from Girls Aloud.

She explained: "I'm an alcoholic now. It's not good and that's why I want to get back into the studio. I've actually pulled myself aside and said it will kill me if I keep it up. I've got to stop abusing myself because as far as I'm concerned every loon hates me now."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Zappa's First Recordings Set For Release
PR reports: Crossfire Publications, is in the process of releasing a series of recordings from the pre- and post-Mothers of Invention eras, with many unreleased tracks featured. The Pal Recording Studios recordings are of enormous historical value, as they were Frank Zappa's very first studio tracks. The symbiotic relationship Zappa had with Paul Buff and Pal formed the core of his later output.

Paul Buff and Frank Zappa pioneered many of the recording techniques and musical styles that continue on today by using the studio itself as a dynamic music instrument, rather than a static capture environment. At Pal, the classic divide between engineer and musician was non-existent.

As the most anticipated releases in Crossfire's release schedule, the Pal Recording Studios CD series was developed by Crossfire's owner Greg Russo along with Paul Buff , owner of the Cucamonga, California-based studio from 1957-1964. This exclusive series will feature many highly prized rarities and unreleased tracks drawn from Paul Buff's mixdown tapes and reference discs.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Rolling Stone A Joke, Aerosmith Not Splitting
BW&BK reports: For the second time in less than a week, AEROSMITH's reps are denying a report that the Boston band is no more.

This morning (June 4th), RollingStone.com posted a picture of singer Steven Tyler at an airport in India with the following caption: "Steven Tyler touches down at the Bangalore airport only to announce that Aerosmith has broken up." But it's just not true, according to Mitch Schneider, the band's publicist, who called the cutline "an error."

Indeed, Rolling Stone publicist Beth Jacobson insisted that an intern wrote the caption and was just joking, apparently playing off an item in the New York Post last week. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
