NME reports: The body of Ra Ra Riot drummer
John Pike has been found.
Pike, 23, went missing after attending
a party in Massachusetts on Friday night.
The band played a show in Providence, RI
on Friday night and afterwards attended a party in Fairhaven, MA.
The search began on foot and by air yesterday

Gigwise reports: Police drummer Stewart Copeland
has trashed his bands performance at one of their recent comeback shows.
Copeland posts an in depth critique of
the bands Vancouver gig the second stop on their comeback tour - on
his official website after a slew of miscues and mishaps resulted in what
he describes as an "ubeLIEVably [sic] lame" show.
He mocks bandmate Sting for a mistimed
dramatic leap, observing that he looked like "a petulant pansy instead

Contact Music reports: Hip-hop star KANYE
WEST is releasing his third album Graduation early, to avoid a sales war
with rival rapper 50 CENT. 50 Cent has delayed the release of his disc
Curtis from 26 June to 4 September (07), claiming the quality would be
affected if it was released in the summer. The new date coincided with
West's album, and MTV reports Graduation will now hit stories in late August

AP reports: Nevada on Thursday became one
of at least a dozen states to enact laws against fake groups promoting
themselves as famed musicians.
The new law requires performing groups
to have at least one member of the recording group that they claim a connection
to, or label the production a "tribute" or "salute." Otherwise, claiming

punkbands reports: The soundtrack to the film
'Kurt Cobain About A Son' will feature tracks from Bad Brains, Death Cab
For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard, Iggy Pop and David Bowie as well as several
other bands that reportedly influenced the Nirvana frontman.
The soundtrack, due out in the US on September
11 via Barsuk. The film, due out in late 2007, features several rare interviews
with the singer, as well as footage of sites in the Pacific Northwest that

the year off, Albert Hammond Jr. has kept himself busy with his solo act.
However, he apparently still has time on his hands. The guitarist is reportedly
going to switch gears a bit and work on a screenplay.
