Atreyu Week: Two Become One
antiMusic reports: Atreyu's new CD 'Lead Sails And A Paper Anchor' hits stores next Tuesday and to celebrate we asked Brandon to pick his top five favorite tracks from the CD and tell us a little about each one. Today he tells us about " Two Become One". Here's Brandon:

"This song for me was all around awesome. From the beginning, when we were writing, it was one of my favorites. This song was a really fun one to record. We got to do all of the vocals for this record on the beach in San Simeon, CA. It was crazy to record vocals while standing on sand and listening to waves crash in front of you at 2 am. It was awesome."

Rolling Stones Retiring?
antiMusic reports: Will the members of the Rolling Stones soon start gathering moss? Maybe if a report citing an always reliable unnamed source is to be believed. In fact, this source says that Sunday's concert in London will be their swan song.

That's right, Mick and Keef are reportedly hanging it up following their concert at London's O2 Arena this coming Sunday (8/26/07), the final stop on their "Bigger Bang Tour."

Strangely, the Stones camp haven't announce this supposed retirement so maybe they like the irony of going out with a whisper instead of a bang, contradicting the tour name. Of course, the news of the retirement comes from an unnamed source so for all we know it's the mailroom guy at their label, the reporter's next door neighbor, the aliens that brought Mick Mars to our planet, Batboy or Clara the Talking Dog. So grab those salt shakers as you read the- news

Warped Riot
antiMusic reports: All hell broke loose following Saturday's Warped Tour show at the Gorge Amphitheater when the after party at a neighboring campground turned into a riot with burning toilets, fights and five arrests.

Grant County deputies responded to an injury call at a campground near the Warped event site and when they arrived they encountered several fights as well as burning portable toilets then things turned ugly as some campers pelted deputies with beer bottles, cans and rocks, and the windshield of a fire truck was shattered by debris, according to AP.

Police arrested five suspects for obstructing a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and intimidating a public servant with threats to do harm.- more on this story

Axl and Sebastian
antiMusic reports: Fans that want a new CD featuring Axl Rose won't have to wait for "Chinese Democracy" as Axl is a featured guest on Sebastian Bach's new album "Angel Down" which hits stores on November 20.

Sebastian revealed the collaboration in an exclusive interview with Blabbermouth. Here is a tiny part of that conversation (read it all at the end link): Basically, the collaboration with me and Axl started when he asked me last December to sing on… I was at his house and he was playing me the new "Chinese Democracy" album — actually, there's more than one; there's, like, four — but he was playing a song called "Sorry", which is a very heavy, grinding kind of riff and we were partying and stuff and I started singing a high harmony on the chorus of this song and he flipped out, and he goes, "That sounds great." He goes, "I want you to sing that on the record." So in January, I went to Electric Lady [studios in New York City], and I sang the chorus of this song "Sorry", and it came out really, really amazing.

So now that I'm finishing my record, just for the fun of it, when I got to L.A., I just texted Axl, I go, "Hey, dude, when are you gonna come and sing on my record?" I was just joking. [Laughs] I didn't think he would do that. But he never ceases to amaze me. And his response was, "When? Where? What time? Where is the studio? What time do you want me there?" - Read the entire interview with Sebastian right here

50 Cent Suppositories
antiMusic reports: The walking punchline that is 50 Cent is reportedly looking to enter the dietary supplement business.

Somehow adding the supplement company to his already bloated "name brands" that includes a record label, energy drink, publishing company and clothing line has something to do with a film he's making where he plays a boxer.

"I'm getting ready to do a dietary supplement company," Fiddy said according to Contact Music. "So I have a nutritionist and a physical trainer travel everywhere with me. I'm preparing for a boxing film." - more

Relient K Releasing Christmas Album Just in Time for Halloween!
PR reports: Relient K - the band that brought you Five Score And Seven Years Ago, mmhmm, Two Lefts Don't Make a Right…(But Three Do) and The Anatomy of the Tongue in Cheek - is heralding the holiday season in its own inimitable style with the release of its first-ever, full-length Christmas album: Let It Snow, Baby…Let It Reindeer. The album, scheduled for release by Capitol Music Group on October 23rd, features Relient K's take on 10 holiday classics and six original songs.

From the glory of "Handel's Messiah" and "Angels We Have Heard On High" to the goofiness of 1950's novelty song "I'm Gettin' Nuttin' For Christmas" and "Santa Clause Is Thumbing To Town" (wherein Relient K imagines a Christmas full of catastrophes that reduce St. Nick to hitchhiking), Let It Snow, Baby…Let It Reindeer captures the many sides of the season.
