We're told one of the dancers at the establishment got a little loose with the elbows -- and accidentally connected with Wood's mouth, knocking out a tooth ... and giving her one fat lip.

Wood -- who's traveling the world to promote her new movie "Ides of March" and her HBO miniseries "Mildred Pierce" -- will continue on the tour ... but sources tell us she's already meeting with a dentist to get a replacement tooth. more on this story

Idle Warship Set New Album Release
(Press Here) Idle Warship will release their first official collection of songs entitled Habits of the Heart on October 24th, 2011, via Blacksmith/Element 9/Fontana.

The 12-track album has Idle Warship storming the music scene with a bold and indefinable mash-up of influences, from soul to hip-hip to alternative to electronic.

Idle Warship is a perfect example of how a whole can become greater than the sum of its parts – and that is saying quite a lot given the musical components of this project. A collaboration between longtime friends and collaborators, hip-hop luminary Talib Kweli and critically acclaimed soulful singer and songwriter Res, Idle Warship was born out of sheer experimentation in the studio. But some of the best things in life happen when least expected. When fans of Talib and Res heard and reacted to some online MP3s of what these two had created during their off-the-cuff sessions, it became clear that that something much bigger was brewing. Since making a huge splash at SXSW in 2009 and completing a successful European tour, Idle Warship made Party Robot – their mixtape with master DJ Mick Boogie and singer/songwriter Graph Nobel – available for free download in 2010. It only left the fans craving more, and now the wait is over! more including tracklisting and tour dates

Taylor Armstrong Death Looks Like Suicide Not Murder
(TMZ) Taylor Armstrong and the L.A. County Coroner both agree -- Russell Armstrong's death does NOT appear to be the result of a murder.

The L.A. County Coroner's Office released Russell's toxicology results moments ago -- and Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter insists, all evidence surrounding Russell's death points to a tragic suicide.

Winter also tells TMZ, he has just advised Taylor of the results and the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star concurs ... it appears her husband killed himself.

But as we previously reported, Russell's family disagrees, insisting someone else is responsible for his death -- and they're even putting a private investigator on the case.

According to the toxicology results, neither alcohol nor drugs were found in Russell's system at the time of his death.

The L.A. County Coroner released Russell's official cause of death last month -- suicide by hanging. more on this story

Katy Perry's Last Friday Night Named Song Of The Summer
VH1 sent over word that Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night" has taken home the first place prize in VH1's first annual Song Of The Summer competition.

The network tells us: For the last 14 weeks, we've been tracking the race to see which track would become this year's Song Of The Summer.

Since people consume music in so many different ways these days, our goal was to put together a democratic formula that compared how a group of over 70 songs performed across five of the primary channels that people frequently use to listen to their favorite jams: the Billboard Hot 100 (radio play & sales), the iTunes charts (pure sales), Last.fm scrobbles (listening on computer and mobile devices), the YouTube music charts (streams) and, of course, our VH1 Top 20 Video Countdown.

Each week, we tracked how our group of competitors fared in each of these different platforms, and then added up the results. Check out the full list here

Singled Out: Mahoney & The Moment's Roadtrip
Today Steve Mahoney from Mahoney & The Moment tells us about "Roadtrip" from their brand new debut album. Here is the story:

'Roadtrip' was written whilst I was still living in my native England and had a kind of fascination with travelling in America. I was listening to a lot of Gillian Welch and Ryan Adams at the time, simple and honest country tinged songs about love, I'd also just met a new girlfriend. When you are so inspired by great music and romance sometimes the song just comes out of nowhere!

For my generation in England, it's a desire and a goal to be travelling the world, and seeing it is regarded as a must, for me I was always most interested in seeing America. The song is also a sort of idealist view of the country and tradition, from a modern city perspective.

I used the metaphor of the road and travelling for love, as those were the things happening in my life at the time and the parts of life that have always most inspired me.

The song carries the kind of optimism and hope you have at the start of a relationship, and hope to carry throughout it.

I've played the song to audiences all around the world, but it wasn't until I performed it with Emily and as a band that it made complete sense to me!

Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
