(TMZ) Charlie Sheen's people claim if Warner Bros. replaces Charlie Sheen and keeps producing "Two and a Half Men, Charlie keeps drawing a paycheck. Sources connected with Charlie tell us ... Charlie has what they call a "Michael J. Fox" clause in his contract. When Fox was doing "Spin City," his contract provided that he would keep getting paid as long as the show was in production, even if he left the show. Ironically, when Charlie took over for Michael, Michael kept drawing his salary. Sources say when Charlie signed on for "Two and a Half Men" ... the original contract provided an identical clause, so Charlie's people believe Warner Bros. is on the hook if they keep producing the show. Here's the rub. Warner Bros. claims they fired Charlie for cause, nullifying the contract. more on this story

(Hollywood Records) Redlight King have announced the release of "Old Man," the first single from their upcoming debut CD "Something For The Pain." If the single's title rings a bell, it should -- "Old Man" features a first-ever sample of the classic Neil Young song of the same name. Young, who rarely entertains sampling requests, had never before approved the sampling of "Old Man" so it wasn't it a shock when initial requests were quickly denied. As Redlight King lead singer-songwriter Kaz tells it, ""I kept saying, 'What about Neil? When he hears it he's going to feel it. I kept putting it out there, finally it got to him and he said yes." Written by Kaz, "Old Man" is not a cover but rather offers up a reluctant salute to his own father, a larger-than-life figure who taught school by day and raced stock cars at night, while paying homage to rock icon Neil Young's song of the same name. The song carries a deeply personal message with a thoroughly modern and original twist. more on this story

(Conqueroo) Jon Dee Graham, Freedy Johnston and Susan Cowsill have united to form the Hobart Brothers & Lil' Sis Hobart. The trio, backed by drummer Russ Broussard and bassist Andrew Duplantis, will make their live debut during SXSW week in a series of Austin appearances. Susan, Jon Dee and Freedy found themselves huddled at last year's SXSW to write a couple of songs reflecting on their early days washing dishes for a living, which all three had done (joining the ranks of such former dish-washing rock legends as Alex Chilton). The band name refers to the commercial dishwasher known to all aspiring songwriters. The three members quickly realized that the Hobart Brothers was a good outlet in which to write songs about things they otherwise would not. From the initial summit came a collection of songs of joy and heartbreak that range from the sublime to the silly. Cowsill's vocals, described by Rolling Stone as "a supple survivor's alto," blend beautifully with the roughhewn quality of Jon's voice and Freedy's sad tenor. more on this story
