Elton John Sings Lady Gaga's Praises
(Gibson) Elton John, who worked with Lady Gaga on a duet for the Gnomeo & Juliet movie, has become quite a fan of the eccentric pop songstress.

Elton told the U.K.'s Daily Express that Gaga is always very polite. "I love her, she's absolutely amazing," he said. "We've become friends. What I like about the Gaga most is that she's amazingly polite and respectful to everyone around her.

"What I loved most about John Lennon is that he was like that. He once gave my mum a lift to the airport and came to my agent's wedding. The Gaga is like that. But the greatest thing about her is that she manages to let everyone think they know everything about her, but no one knows anything. more on this story

Pete Doherty Takes Up Ballroom Dancing
(Gibson) Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has been taking ballroom dancing lessons as practice for his performance in French period piece Confession d'un enfant du siθcle, in which he'll play 19th century poet Alfred de Musset.

Doherty has blogged frequently about the role on his website, saying, "Today I had my first waltz lesson, in preparation for the forthcoming film: Confession d'un enfant du siecle. My character must display natural grace and poise — as was expected of a young aristocrat and dandy of 1830s French society.

"I was going to film the lesson, but it didn't seem appropriate. The teacher was just as I had imagined – straight backed, horsewhip in hand, and a brutal perfectionist. What a day!" more on this story
