Garth Brooks Announces Return To Nashville
(Gibson) Country superstar Garth Brooks has announced that he will be returning to Nashville as a performer for the first time in more than 10 years.

The benefit will aid victims of Nashville's May flood. The concert will be held December 17 at the Bridgestone Arena. Proceeds from the event will go to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

Brooks' wife Trisha Yearwood also will perform. All the proceeds from every $25 ticket will go directly to flood relief. Brooks and Yearwood are performing gratis, the venue is free and all the production crew are volunteering. - more on this story

Christina Aguilera and Cher Go Burlesque
Christina Aguilera and Cher are teaming up for the new Sony Pictures film Burlesque and the film's soundtrack which will be released by RCA on on November 22nd.

The soundtrack features new recordings performed and co-written by five time Grammy winner Christina Aguilera, with production by Tricky Stewart, Linda Perry and Ron Fair and songwriting by Claude Kelly, Tricky Stewart and Sia.

The soundtrack also features two brand new tracks performed by the legendary Cher, including "You Haven't Seen The Last Of Me", a powerful Diane Warren penned ballad which was produced by Matt Serletic. This marks Cher's first new original song in seven years as well as her first movie musical. Train At A Crossroads With Martina McBride
Martina McBride and Train will join forces onstage for CMT Crossroads: Train and Martina Mcbride which premieres Saturday, November 20 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT.

The one-hour show will tape in Nashville in the upcoming weeks. This will mark McBride's second time appearing on the hit CMT series, the first being paired with Pat Benatar in 2003.

Katy Perry and Linkin Park Free MTV Shows
MTV will hold a series of free, live music events at the Puerta de Alcala in the Plaza de la Independcia in Madrid as part of the 2010 MTV EMAs.

Over two days, artists will perform a series of free concerts at the Puerta De Alcala, starting on Saturday 6 November with MTV Days, a live open-air concert dedicated to contemporary Spanish artists and bands.

America's Got Talent's Michael Grimm Plans Album Release
Epic Records plan an early 2011 new album release from Michael Grimm, the season five winner of America's Got Talent.

Song Allegedly Stolen By The Black Eyed Peas Posted Online
(Miller Canfield) The song "Take a Dive," which is the subject of Texas songwriter, Bryan Pringle's, recently filed copyright infringement lawsuit against the Black Eyed Peas over their hit single, "I Gotta Feeling," was released on YouTube.

According to the Complaint, "Take a Dive" was never published by Pringle, but was submitted to Defendants in the case, UMG Recordings, Interscope Records and EMI regularly from 1999 to 2006, in hopes that they would either sign Pringle as an artist to their labels or sell the song to another artist.

"If you listen to the two songs they are nearly identical," said Pringle's lawyer, Dean Dickie of Miller Canfield. Pringle's co-counsel, Ira Gould of Gould Law Group, added, "If you superimpose the Black Eyed Peas' lyrics to 'I Gotta Feeling' over Pringle's song, 'Take a Dive,' it is indistinguishable from 'I Gotta Feeling.' - more on this story

Adele will release her sophomore album, 21, in North America on February 22 via Columbia Records/XL.

Tim McGraw Releases New Song
Tim McGraw released a new digital single, "Felt Good On My Lips," which is one of two bonus tracks that will be included on theupcoming double-CD collection, Number One Hits, which features 22 of McGraw's chart-topping singles.

The song jumps to 14* this week on both the Billboard and Mediabase Country charts, and is the newest single within the Top 20 on both charts.

The video has been added to MTV Hits, MTVU and Music Choice. "Memories" is the 4th single from Guetta's album One Love, following "Gettin' Over You" featuring Fergie, LMFAO and Chris Willis, the multi-platinum, top 5 hit "Sexy Bitch" featuring Akon and the Grammy-Winning "When Love Takes Over" featuring Kelly Rowland.
