Tim McGraw released a new digital single, "Felt Good On My Lips," which is one of two bonus tracks that will be included on theupcoming double-CD collection, Number One Hits, which features 22 of McGraw's chart-topping singles.The song jumps to 14* this week on both the Billboard and Mediabase Country charts, and is the newest single within the Top 20 on both charts.
After six short weeks at country radio, 100% of the format's reporting stations are playing "Felt Good On My Lips," which was written by Brett Warren, Brad Warren, Brett Beavers and Jim Beavers.
Number One Hits, which will be released on November 30th by Curb Records, spans McGraw's remarkable career, from such early hits as "Don't Take The Girl," "Not A Moment Too Soon" and "I Like It, I Love It" to this year's "Southern Voice," the title track from his 10th studio album.
It kicks off with the poignant "Live Like You Were Dying." The song, which was the title track of McGraw's 4x Platinum 2004 album, earned a GRAMMY®, two ACM awards and two CMA awards while the accompanying video won a CMT award. The collection also includes "It's Your Love," McGraw's 1997 duet with hiswife, Faith Hill, "Just to See You Smile," the longest-charting country single of the 1990's, and - as a bonus - a dance mix of his breakthrough 1994 hit, "Indian Outlaw."
