Katy Perry and Linkin Park Free MTV Shows

MTV will hold a series of free, live music events at the Puerta de Alcala in the Plaza de la Independcia in Madrid as part of the 2010 MTV EMAs.

Over two days, artists will perform a series of free concerts at the Puerta De Alcala, starting on Saturday 6 November with MTV Days, a live open-air concert dedicated to contemporary Spanish artists and bands.

On Sunday 7 November between 6pm and 9:45pm CET, Katy Perry and Linkin Park will both perform, with a track from each artist beamed directly into the Caja Magica, during the MTV EMA live show. - more on this story

America's Got Talent's Michael Grimm Plans Album Release

Epic Records plan an early 2011 new album release from Michael Grimm, the season five winner of America's Got Talent.

Winning with a record number of votes, Grimm was awarded $1 million as well as the headline spot on the first ever national "America's Got Talent" live tour. He is currently touring with fellow AGT cast mates in major cities throughout the US.

While touring, Grimm is working on a new album which will feature both original music written by Grimm as well as some classic covers. He will stay true to his Americana meets blue-eyed soul sound, creating carefully crafted rock songs with a mature soulful delivery. Adding to the excitement of Grimm's win and a new album on the way, he has also been confirmed to perform at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Song Allegedly Stolen By The Black Eyed Peas Posted Online

(Miller Canfield) The song "Take a Dive," which is the subject of Texas songwriter, Bryan Pringle's, recently filed copyright infringement lawsuit against the Black Eyed Peas over their hit single, "I Gotta Feeling," was released today on YouTube.

According to the Complaint, "Take a Dive" was never published by Pringle, but was submitted to Defendants in the case, UMG Recordings, Interscope Records and EMI regularly from 1999 to 2006, in hopes that they would either sign Pringle as an artist to their labels or sell the song to another artist. - more on this story
