Crystal Bowersox denied previous report suggesting she has inked a joint deal with 19 Recordings Limited and Jive Records. "I haven't signed anything," this season's runner-up of "American Idol" told Toledo Free Press in a phone interview. more but wait... Crystal Bowersox later confirmed that she has inked a deal with Jive Records. "I've got a meeting in a few days to talk with Jive, I'm signed with Jive," the runner-up of "American Idol" season 9 told Associated Press. more. Recently leaked from the vault was an alternate version of Beyonce Knowles' "Me, Myself and I" music video which is directed by Johan Renck. It has the same storyline of the original clip which follows the R&B singer as she caught his man cheating on her. more Miley Cyrus appears to have Nick Jonas on her mind - she's stunned fans after admitting one of her new songs is about "a Jonas Brother". The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Soundtrack featuring the music of legendary composer Hans Zimmer was released this week. The 17-track score from the mega blockbuster, which has become the biggest entertainment launch in history, includes an original score by Lorne Balfe with the main theme and executive music production by Zimmer. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 soundtrack, which is part of a larger overall digital distribution deal between Activision Publishing, Inc. and Fontana, the award-winning independent sales, marketing and distribution division of Universal Music Group, will be the first among many others to be made available online. The entire soundtrack can be purchased for a retail price of $9.99 or $.99 per track.

Chico Fellini have released "Give It To Me" & The Cramps "I Was A Teenage Werewfolf", the first installment of their latest conceptual creative enterprise, the year-long "Singles Series". Harkening back to the early 1960s, when singles were standard and ruled supreme over the album format, the band will release a new single on the first day of each month over the next year. Each new Chico Fellini track will also be accompanied by a b-side recording of a selected cover song showcasing the band's far-reaching musical influences. The project will yield 12 new Chico Fellini tracks and a dozen cover song recordings that will be available in both CD and vinyl format at various increments throughout the project.
