Sophie B. Hawkins has made her Rock Band Network debut with the release of the song "Beautiful Girl" on Rock Band.

"Beautiful Girl" is the first track off of Ms. Hawkins' 2004 album Wilderness. "What a thrill it is for me to hear and see Beautiful Girl on Rock Band Network," says Sophie B. Hawkins. "I am so excited to introduce my music to new fans and to have Beautiful Girl reach new audiences!"

Former Xscape star turned Real Housewives of Atlanta Kandi Burruss has debuted her new single "Leave You" on Essence.com.

Kandi had this to say about the record: "Working on this album, I knew I wanted to get back in the studio with Jazze Pha, a long-term friend and great producer. He and the two co-writers of the song are very talented people who I feel really understand me as an artist.

"I went into the session wanting to record a real R&B song that took you back to my Xscape days. The Voodoo Jets Go From Greens to Eternity

The Voodoo Jets will release their new album "From Greens to Eternity," on September 1, 2010.

The album is the band's second full-length release and the first since the passing of drummer, John Fowler.

"From Greens to Eternity" features 13 tracks and a raucous cover of Smokey Robinson's "The Tears of a Clown." Physical CD sales will be available from CD Baby, and MP3 versions will become available in September at all of the usual sites. IMG Going Soph With New Mixtape

IMG has announced the release of his sophomore mixtape, Ain't Nothing To It. The mixtape, hosted by DJ Whoo Kid is being released under the management of Shadyville Entertainment, known for their collaborations with A-list artists like 50-Cent, Mobb Deep, The Game, Chamillionaire, and more. IMG's Ain't Nothing To It hits retailers and on September 27, 2010.

Bill Frisell returns with Beautiful Dreamers, a new project and a new ensemble comprised of a trio consisting of Frisell on guitar, Eyyvind Kang on viola and Rudy Royston on drums.
