The Jonas Brothers announced a three continent summer concert tour with special guest and Hollywood Records label mate, Demi Lovato. The tour will combine performances of both artists' hits as well as music from the Disney Channel Original Movie, "Camp Rock," and its highly anticipated sequel. The tour will also feature appearances by their friends and co-stars from both "Camp Rock" movies. On May 1, Church Street School hosts a Community Weaving and Guitar Jam to celebrate two decades of art and music education in Tribeca. The day-long celebration will include face-painting, instrument-making, open-art classes, sample music lessons, and frenzy of fun in and around the school located at 74 Warren Street. Festival-goers will be able to help create a large-scale art installation of woven materials to celebrate the school's recent expansion AND take part in a massive, all-players-invited, Community Guitar Jam led by Church Street School dad Mike Diamond of the Beastie Boys — potentially the world's largest guitar-jam ever led by a drummer! Andrew W.K., musician, entertainer, and creator/host of "Destroy, Build, Destroy", will MC the jam. Community Board 1 Chair Julie Menin will officially dedicate the school's new facilities, made possible by a grant from LMDC and the Department of Cultural Affairs. On the outdoor stage at the school, afternoon performances by students, faculty and alumni will culminate in the dedication and the Community Guitar Jam. The party continues with the New Orleans sounds of The Sugartones Brass Band.

The Andre Agassi Foundation for Education (Foundation) today announced that Sir Elton John and Rob Thomas will headline its 15th Grand Slam for Children benefit concert. The annual event supports the Foundation's efforts to transform education and benefits the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy (Agassi Prep), a K-12 public charter school in Las Vegas that strives to provide children with a first-class education. Hosted by tennis legend and philanthropist Andre Agassi and presented by Genworth Financial, the 2010 Grand Slam for Children will take place Saturday, Oct. 9 at Wynn Las Vegas. "Reaching our 15th Grand Slam is an incredible milestone, and the support we've gotten from both the artists and those involved with our Foundation have made that possible," said Andre Agassi. Wynonna Judd has joined Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in its support of Wounded Warrior Project with the release of Love Heals, a collection of Wynonna's top singles and three other tracks not available for sale until now. The new CD can be pre-ordered beginning today and will arrive in all Cracker Barrel locations on May 24th. In addition to sharing new music with her fans, Wynonna is honored and humbled to support Wounded Warrior Project and its efforts to assist wounded service men and women and their families. Cracker Barrel will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every Love Heals CD to Wounded Warrior Project. In 2008, Wounded Warrior Project started coordinating retreats for caregivers who help their wounded loved ones facing a range of physical and mental challenges. The retreats provide the caregivers with rest, rejuvenation and a place to connect with other caregivers. Tanya Morgan is excited to announce upcoming Spring performance dates, including their first ever trip to Europe. Starting their string of dates, Tanya Morgan will be performing at the First Book Charity Concert, an event they will curate alongside Move Forward Music this Friday, April 30th at Crash Mansion in New York City. The charity, First Book, provides new books at low cost or free to thousands of communities that are unable to purchase books for children in need. "The book drive was presented to us a while ago and at the time we had no idea that it would be related to such a wonderful cause," says Donwill. "I personally am very happy to be involved with an organization devoted to giving back. If my celebrity can go towards causing change and helping enrich a child's then it's all worth it." Joining Tanya Morgan, Buckshot and fellow Duck Down Records artists Skyzoo and Torae will also be performing. The show kicks off at 7:30pm and tickets for the event are $12, with all proceeds going to First Book.
