Don't be fooled by the title; Guitar Lessons is not about guitar lessons. Taylor is the president and co-founder of Taylor Guitars and this memoir is mostly about how the company came to fruition and the years of trial-and-error that got them to where they stand now as a leading maker of fine guitars. There are some anecdotes of general interest to music fans, like when Taylor recounts a meeting with Gordon Lightfoot where he attempted to get Gord to go on stage with a new Taylor 12-string.
