The Royal Wylds are a garage type band straight out of Brooklyn NY and in 2007 they released the first sample of their product in a 6 song E.P. entitled Babylon. The band is made up of five members with each one contributing their own experiences and idea's from the previous musical endeavors they were part of. The group specializes in a hopped up blues folk type music with a kind of 60's feel. The songs on the disc at first just sort of sound thrown together, in a hurry but after hearing the disc a couple times and understanding the lyrics you start to comprehend the actual depth of the songs. Drawing off their real life experiences and focusing on political & social injustices they have engineered a sound that is rough yet secretly intelligent. This E.P. is the first in what is to be a series of E.P.'s The Royal Wylds will release through 2008.
