Midnight To Twelve Review

by J Simpson

.
Midnight To Twelve is a hard working alternative rock band hailing from southern California. On July 22nd the five piece group will be releasing a 12 track disc titled Midnight To Twelve. Although the disc has all original material on it Midnight To Twelve is basically a re-release of Midnight To Twelve's 2006 debut offering called King Of Spain with a couple of the weaker songs replaced and obviously a different title.

Midnight To Twelve's music has a melodic dynamic sound full of potent guitar riffs and Jon Hartman's alluring vocals. From the very beginning of the disc you realize this L.A. club playing group knows how to make memorable music that's very easy to listen too. "How Bad" the opening track, "Burnin" and "Story" are probably my favorite tunes but there is definitely something for everybody in this collection, hard rockers, mid tempo tunes and although there are no true power ballads the song GMA comes pretty close.

I have to admit I am pretty impressed with Midnight To Twelve, the songs seem to stick in your head and the group shows the capability of making first-rate music. I would recommend this disc to anybody who likes any kind of alternative rock. Midnight To Twelve is a very talented band and should leave their mark on the music scene.
