. He was later fined $1000 after a plea-bargain. But he says it was a daily occurrence that just happened to get out of control. Brown – who co-founded Dokken and plays with offshoot band T&N – tells BackstageAxxess: "We're playing these big venues which all have golf carts to get around. I love riding around on these things. The bass player and I do it a lot – we get drunk and we drive around. It's a lot of fun. Whenever I see a key in one we hop in and go. It was nothing out of the ordinary. "So this day I happened to do it and there were some girls I knew in the audience. I went and got them. We were riding around, everyone was having a fun time, then I came to an area where the security guy didn't really want me to go. I told him to [explicit], and that didn't fly really well. He called the police and said, 'This guy stole a golf cart.'" "The police show up, and at this point I happen to be on a public road, trying to get back into the venue. I got tackled, shackled, the whole thing, and went to jail." more. Classic Rock Magazine is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
