As we previously reported, Dierks posted notice of his missing friend across social media (Facebook and Twitter), and friends and fans took immediate action — some simply retweeted the news, others who were more local literally took to the streets to help in the search. Jake was eventually found at a busy in intersection. The woman who picked him up, says Dierks, "heard through social media that Jake had been missing and returned him." Dierks was, as you'd imagine, deeply grateful for the fast, widespread response. So much so in fact that he posted a video thanking everyone for all the effort. Watch it here.
