Jimmy Kimmel Doesn't Want To Engage in Leno and Letterman Feud
. Although Jimmy is ready to battle for ratings, there's another battle Jimmy wants no part of: the one between Letterman and Leno. Jimmy saying, "Dave and Jay know each other a lot better than I know either one of them." This after Letterman took a dig at his rival Jay Leno on "Oprah's Next Chapter, saying, "He may be the most insecure person I have ever known." Kimmel and Letterman on the other hand get along well, Kimmel considers Dave an idol. Renee, "Is it a little bittersweet for you going up against one of your idols?" Jimmy, "It's a little bit weird but I don't think it affects Dave in any way, I don't think he cares at all." Jimmy commended Dave for his honesty in the recent interview with Oprah, "I thought it was brave of him to do." On a lighter note, Jimmy had a message for "Extra's" special correspondent, Tony Dovolani, who said he wanted Jimmy to be his partner on "Dancing With The Stars" as the first male and male duo. Jimmy was flattered, "That is the only way I would consider doing "Dancing With The Stars." He went on to say, "Tony we should get together in a rehearsal hall and we'll work on some moves, see how it goes…we'll rub up against each other a little." Jimmy may be moving time slots, but he doesn't plan on moving out of the business any time soon. This is his tenth anniversary and Jimmy says he wants to be on for ten more years to come, Jimmy laughing, "Another ten would be good, that seems like enough, I'm tired already."
