Kayne West and Will Smith reportedly started recording a "Latin inspired" song together according to a recording studio owner in Brazil.Both West and Smith were both spotted in Brazil recently and gossip sites speculated that they recorded together and now a local studio owner has reportedly confirmed those reports.
DJ Batutinha, the man who is said to own the recording studio where West and Smith recorded together, told The Sun that he helped them on the project which reportedly has a Latin influence.
"'Kanye was keen to get to learn more about the funk in Rio and a DJ friend of mine referred him to me," Batutinha told the The Sun. "Will and him went to the studio to get to know the sound of the funk better.
"They thought we could all work out something together and launch this new project.'
Batutinha told the paper that West and Smith plan to finish the song in the U.S.
