Whitesnake have set an April 23rd North American release date for their new live package, "Live in Japan." The new live collection is set to be released in several formats including a deluxe 2CD/DVD edition, Blu-ray and a standalone DVD.
The release will feature a performance from the band's "Forevermore World Tour" recorded during their coheadlining show at the Loud Park Festival in Japan on October 11, 2011.
The bonus CD is set to include previously unreleased outtakes and acoustic versions of songs from their "Forevermore" album that were recorded during soundchecks on the 2011 Japanese tour.
Additional DVD content includes various band photo slideshows and fan-shot videos.
