(hennemusic) Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks performed the wedding ceremony of singer Vanessa Carlton and Deer Tick frontman John McCauley on Friday.

Rolling Stone reports Carlton shared the news on Twitter with a photo of the outdoor ceremony, along with the note to the Fleetwood Mac singer: "Thanks Stevie for marrying us!"

McCauley also posted a photo to Instagram of Nicks signing the couple's wedding license. McCauley and Carlton met through their mutual friend, Patrick Hallahan of My Morning Jacket, who played drums on Carlton's 2011 album "Rabbits On The Run." more on this story
