Former Nightwish Singer Anette Olzon Releases First Solo Song

(TeamRock Radio) Anette Olzon, who was fired from Nightwish last year, has released her debut solo lyric video. It's for the song "Falling," which comes from her album, Shine, which has been under production since 2009 and will finally see the light of day on February 28.

Olzon recently said: "The overall message is that life can be really dark and filled with hardship and sadness – but you can always choose to see some light coming through, to make you stronger and full of life, making you shine, no matter what.

"In the end it's a rock album. Well, a pop rock album, maybe. Or would you call it pop metal?" Take a listen to the first song and you can decide for yourself here.
