R. Kelly Planning Christmas Album

(Radio.com) R. Kelly will spread wide some holiday cheer with his own Christmas album. In interview with RapUp (via Pitchfork), Kells revealed The 12 Nights of Christmas, saying "It's gonna be a lot of lovemaking. I come with that bearing gifts." Preparing ourselves right know to never think of "chimneys" the same way again.

Unfortunately, the album will not be out until next Christmas. "I started it last Christmas actually, but I don't believe in just puttin out a Christmas album to just sell records. I want it to be the next [sings "Deck the Halls" ?]. In order to get that moment, you gotta take a couple Christmases and then come with it."

While we wait for his yuletide hymns, in the interim, we may get another proper R. Kelly Record. "I've got seven or eight albums lined up like rockets," he said in the interview. more on this story
