(Radio.com) The L.A. Times reports that R&B singer and one-time accidental lady-kicker Miguel has been arrested for a DUI in Los Angeles early Thursday morning (August 15).

According to the Times, at 2:15 a.m., California Highway Patrol officers initially pulled over Miguel Pimentel's BMW for speeding and tinted windows on an L.A. freeway. After officers smelled alcohol, he was administered a sobriety test. Officers determined that Miguel's blood alcohol content was at .10, over the legal limit of .08, and was subsequently arrested.

"Yes, he was stopped for speeding and tinted windows near the intersection of Lincoln and Mindanao Way in Marina del Rey," confirmed CHP spokesperson Corina Munoz by phone. "Eventually there was a DUI investigation, and he was arrested." more on this story
