Rise Against Preview Their Springsteen Cover

(Gibson) Rise Against have a release of B-sides and covers on the way called Long Forgotten Songs: B-Sides & Covers 2000-2013, and while the collection won't be released until Sept. 10, fans can hear a snippet right now.

Rise Against are previewing their cover version of Bruce Springsteen's "The Ghost of Tom Joad" here. The group performed the tune in September of 2012 with a few friends: Gaslight Anthem frontman Brian Fallon and MC5's Wayne Kramer.

"This whole experience was surreal and serendipitous," Rise Against frontman Tim McIlrath told the magazine about getting the guests together on one stage. more on this story
